I suffered a brain bleed during a craniotomy. He never mentioned it and when I told him I had seen the CT scan at my rehabilitation hospital he denied it vehemently. I had several issues including cognitive, speech, dizziness, vision issues and a vestibular disorder following the surgery. He cancelled a later follow-up appointment. I was told they would call and re-schedule but that never happened. I consulted with a neurologist and a neurosurgeon. My neurologist told me the bleed was significant and my issues were probably a result of the bleed. My neurosurgeon was in agreement. I think that Dr Lamond's ego got in the way of admitting there was a complication.

Dr. Lamond performed 3 difficult craniotomies for CSF repair and then a craniectomy later. He has always been professional, technical, knowledgeable and willing to explain the complexities that some of these surgeries and complications that occur. He made sure hospital staff had things done accurately in a very kind way. I know he saved my life and I know God placed him in my life at the right time. His expertise and confidence don’t come with egotistical behavior - it’s refreshing.

I unfortunately can't speak to Dr Lamond himself because I never got to see him. He did not show for am 8:20 am appointment because a meeting he was in ran late. I scheduled later that day at 11:00am because he is only there one day per week. When I was finally shown to a room at 11:30 Dr. Lamond proceeded to stand outside of my door and chit chat about bike racing with someone for another 15min. I admittedly lost my temper and left. If you do plan to see him, bring a book and good luck.

3 years ago Dr. Lamond performed a lumbar discectomy due to acute cauda equina syndrome. I am forever grateful for his expertise, bedside manner and for my new back. Before surgery I struggled to stand, sit, walk, and basically function normally. Today I enjoy an active life, with relatively few issues. Thank you Dr. Lamond.

I arrived at Dr. Lamond's office in acute distress, due to nerve damage in my leg. The staff was absolutely terrrific. Everyone was prompt, super efficient, and kind. Dr. Lamond is a very smart guy. He understands my strange situation and won't do any surgery until his diagnosis is confirmed through other tests. He was recommended by my fantastic orthopedic surgeon, and I see why. I feel confident that he is the best doctor for the care of my complex situation.
