Beware! More concerned about his equipment!
When we saw Dr. Ellis, he seemed caring, and told us a lot about new equipment and a new procedure he would soon be able to use which was more precise. We told him that, even though we were snowbirds, we could travel to take advantage of the new equipment/procedure. However, he wanted to continue with his current technology, and my wife had 5 radiation procedures on an abdominal tumor, ending February 24th. There were no instructions after the procedures telling us what to be aware of regarding pain, no follow up calls, no discussion of prognosis etc. We left feeling very positive about the treatment she received. She died on March 31st. A week before she died she called his office because she was experiencing pain and left a message, which was never returned. When I took her to the hospital because of her pain, I called his office again and a PA was sent. We never heard from Dr. Ellis again. It appears the treatments had no effect, an outcome that had not been discussed.

Best Radiation Oncologist I have found !!
Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish. Appreciate Dr. Ellis taking time to go over the treatment and diagnosis clearly. I Was referred over by my Urologic Surgeon Dr. Christopher DiBlasio and can see why. I highly recommended them both!

He is the reason I’m still here. Dr Ellis
Dr Ellis expressed a positive outlook from our first meeting and directed me to a new treatment that others on my cancer team had not suggested. He is very knowledgeable of the latest therapies. I consider myself very fortunate to have him on my team.
