Dr. Kurlan is amazing!!! He is one of the most personable and friendly doctors I have ever met and he is really good at taking time with patients and explaining conditions. I can't recommend him enough.

Dr Kurlan was amazing. He came in on his day off to meet with my daughter. He was patient, interested, thorough and very clear when explaining what was happening to my daughter. I couldn't have asked for better.

Dr. Kurlan is an exceptional MD, especially considering the personal attention he gives to each patient. He spent a full hour listening and taking notes before making a recommendation. This is really rare these days. He's the best!

Dr. Kurlan could care less about my 89 y.o. mother & his final words to her were "Good Luck"; despicable. She is now under another doctor's care who has helped her significantly. She could not tolerate the medication and dosage he prescribed to her & so she was on no medication. Now she is on a time-released medication that has helped her a lot. He never tested her during her appointments. If you need help, DO NOT GO to him

My relatives & I found Dr. Kurlan to be lacking in his bedside manner. Before the exam I voiced my concerns about a particular disease & he told me I can't have it because I'm too young (despite a celebrity spokesman being 6 years younger than me at the time of his diagnosis). He told me that my new symptoms are due to mental illness & I need a therapist. He even told me that I don't have a movement disorder I was diagnosed with years ago, even though he didn't do a proper work up for it.
