Dr. Roger Roque, MD

Dr. Roque abruptly ended my visit and did not schedule a followup visit or refer me to a specialist for my condition. He did not take time to listen to my symptoms or do a thorough exam. Too rushed.

Dr. Roque is very thorough, caring, personable and compassionate. He takes time to hear you and makes sure you understand what he is doing and why. He is also very funny. There is never a dull moment when you visit him. I just love him!!! ??

Picky about how often you come in, while only spending a few moments with you before running out to next patient. So care and concern for your health has been greatly diminished even though he is an intelligent doctor. Making contact for refills (or pretty much anything) by phone is near impossible most times, so you have to pretty much drive to the office to get help. Communication between doctor and staff often lacking, such as when the doctor tells you it's important to see you in 14 days, but the staff wants to schedule you for 2 months to return. I think they all have good hearts and intentions, but have taken on too many patients to still function as an effective medical provider. So if you choose to go to him, it's not the way he was a few years ago, prepare to stay on top of the doctor getting his paperwork to imaging, or to other doctors, and prepare to repeat your reasons for seeing him, and prepare to drive to his office to communicate. Disappointed.

While Dr. Roque may have been a good doctor in the past, he has now lost his way in medicine. Watch out for unnecessary tests, hospitalizations, and misdiagnosis. He even told me he has too many patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Roque for over 10 years. He is very caring and takes the time to listen to you and answer your questions. I have and will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Dr. Roque is a compassionate, caring and professional doctor. He is definitely not a pill pusher whose main goal is money. He places the comfort and care of his patients FIRST; and he listens. He has a sense of humor.

Dr. Roque is one of the most caring doctors we know. He always takes time to listen to our questions, answers thoroughly, and goes above and beyond in alerting us to things we need to know. He is the best of the best and he shows that he cares for his patients.

So, my husband has been seen by Dr. Roque for years. He changed jobs that no longer offered health insurance and did not make an appointment for approximately a year. We purchased private health insurance so he could finally go back to see his doctor. The day before the appointment the office woman calls him to say, "Since you haven't been seen since 2016, you are no longer a patient." WHAT??? It's only 2017. It's only been a year. What kind of health CARE.. key word...does this??? Don't bother.

I enrolled in LillyCares because I cannot afford my copay. They will only deliver my meds to the doctor, not me or a pharmacy. Dr. Roque's office did not notify me of receipt of the insulin and in the meantime gave it to other patients. The boxes had my name and other personal information on them. I am caught between a rock and a hard place. Lilly is trying to resolve this, but Roque is firm about not receiving deliveries. His staff have not been very kind to me as I need this in order to live.

drs and staff willing to do whatever it takes to help!!Issues only arise when you try to refill scripts...Always go in to the office to fill out script refill form....and always follow up on faxed forms....they get pretty busy!!?
