Finally found a Dr who understands
I have suffered with anxiety and depression most of my life.i have been to lots of drs and put on lots of different medications. My wife found Dr Wortham by googling and I saw him recently.i felt at ease speaking with him and definitely could tell he understood what I was trying to tell him. he put me on a antidepressant I had never heard of. I'm so glad he did. Last night I slept better than I have in years, and I'm feeling optimistic for the first time in years. My attention span is also a lot better. He is a wonderful Dr.

Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment sessions, in an outpatient or telehealth setting, are designed to better hear and understand concerns presented.  A care plan incorporating pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy and personal resourcefulness is devised and adjusted based on ongoing dialog.

biography

Seasoned, board certified psychiatrist educated at Meharry Medical College, (former) Charity (Tulane) Hospital of New Orleans, and the National Naval Medical Center of Bethesda, Maryland.  Dr. Wortham has experience in private practice,  and in  public and private inpatient and outpatient facilities.
