Dr Friedman was very informative about the options for my husband at this time. He answered all of our questions and we had a plan when we left. We would definitely recommend Dr Friedman to family and friends

Best urologist ever who has treated me in my 80+ years of age. Fortunate to have been in Winston-Salem, NC when I first needed a consultation regarding my prostate and previously high PSA levels.

I am 78 YO with a long history of BPH and PSA tests and DRE's. My first contact with Dr. Friedman was 9 June 2023 for a DRE and review of my PSA test increase rate and past enlarged prostate and PSA test history. After discussion and the DRE we agreed to do an MRI of my prostate to look for any abnormalities. I found Dr. Friedman to be a good listener and I would recommend him to anyone needing an experienced urologist.

Arrogant
He cannot tolerate questions and very demanding and vindictive. When I ask for a second opinion he blackballed me from Novant Health

I have2 complaints. On 10-2-20 I went to see Dr Friedman because I was urinating every 15 minutes and felt that I was dehydrated after he prescribed Fenasteride. I was seen by 3 nurses and they threw away the urine sample that was supposed to have been sent for a culture. Even though, I kept saying it was an emergency, Dr Friedman never stopped by the room I was in to see me. My second complaint involves my wife. On March 26, 2020, she had a kidney infection and a 103 fever. I took her to see Dr Friedman and she had to be admitted to Forsyth Hospital. He never stopped by the hospital not even once during the 2 days, she was there. Once out of the hospital, she was supposed to have a follow up visit with Dr. Friedman and was told they were not seeing patients due to Coronavirus and only offered an on - line visit. No I don't recommend this Dr. he seems to have forgotten the Hippocratic oath he took when he graduated .

waited an hour after my scheduled appointment before seeing doctor, Dr Friedman was in my room for all of 5 minutes, did not answer my questions, and told me to come back in 3 months. I had continual prostate issues and had been on antibiotics for over 5 months and could find no relief, he offered 3 more weeks of antibiotics and shoved me out the door. Is it my Medicaid and you can only charge me so much? Medicaid patients beware.
