Dr. Rolando Gomez Jr, MD

Professional, knowledgeable, patient, great bedside manner. When I asked him if I could ask 1 more question, he told me I could ask 10 more. Took his time explaining an upcoming procedure so I was completely aware of benefits, setting my expectations appropriately. Suggested that I send diagnostic imaging to him, so I had the opportunity to have another provider review those results. What a wonderful experience, I felt like I was in very capable hands. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Dr. Gomez.

Saw him once for a prenatal visit at 35 weeks pregnant and that was enough. He wasn’t familiar with my medical history / records. Didn’t even know how far along I was… it was a strange and awkward visit to say the least. I had to fully update him and he seemed confused. Asked me the same questions several times, like he wasn’t listening. I am in complete agony since he did a swab and stuck a swab way up in my urethra and said “you’re sensitive because you’re pregnant”, this was not a typical vaginal swab. I began to bleed right after he injured me and he inflected pain! I asked what he was doing?!? Waiting for this to subside and hopefully this will heal soon. Would not recommend him.

My sister had her baby with him delivering her. He came in an hour after telling the nurses to have my sister push. He was also rough with the baby. She ended up with a fractured skull, brain bleed and multiple bruises. Ended in Winnie Palmer hospita Never trust him

As far as deliveries, Dr Gomez was not at the hospital on time. The on-call hospital O.B. did not want to come to evaluate my daughters state. He never came in the room. She was delivering and the baby was stuck in the birth canal. The nurses did their best, but the baby had a fractured skull and a seizure after delivery.

Dr. Gomez is kind, caring, and compassionate. His devotion to his patients' is admirable. I recently had to have a hysterectomy and Dr. Gomez performed the surgery for me. He did an excellent job and he went out of his way every day to make sure I was comfortable. He truly went above and beyond! I would recommend Dr. Gomez to anyone.

Sure... Dr Gomez is nice ( i had him for a prev pregnancy) but he has been slipping this time around. He is impossible to get an appt kept by their office. If he can't handle any more patients then simple...dont accept. He just canceled my first OB appt for the 6th time today. I have been trying to get in since 5 weeks and i am now 12 weeks. Luckily i found a new OB like 60 miles away. If you want to be seen urgently or for OB care i advise you NOT to go to this practice

Hands down the best OB out of my 3 babies. His bedside manner was fantastic. Yes, sometimes I felt frustrated because I'd have appointments cancelled last minute because another mom was in labor, but that means when I was in labor I had his full attention (likely meaning someone's appointment was cancelled because he was focused on me). If I was going to have another child I wouldn't wnt anyone else to be my doctor.

Poor bedside manner and appointments are always cancelled without explanation. For any new mom who is expecting a baby you want to choose a doctor who aids in making this experience unforgettable. Sadly I was completely disappointed with this doctor and wouldn't recommend his services to anyone.

Dr. Gomez recently performed emergency surgery for an unexpected problem. He was very comforting during surgery prep and explained the surgery. He also has great bedside manner and is genuinely concerned with the well being of his patients, physically and emotionally. While the wait time in his office can be long, and appointments can be cancelled, he takes time with each person and as the only Dr in the practice, has more demands when emergencies or labor arise. I wouldn't trust anyone else!

I liked Dr Gomez, but on three occasions his office called the morning of my appointment and cancelled. Then trying to schedule another appointment was very difficult. I was desperate to hear my baby's heartbeat and get at check up. After almost two months of being put off, I changed practices.

When Dr Gomez arrived at L&D he was on his phone almost the entire time I was pushing. After about 45 minutes of pushing he put his phone down and without saying a word started to numb my vagina. When I asked him when he was doing he didn't give me any response. At the next push he gave me an episiotomy without even consulting me! I had to get 10 stitches after what he did. He claimed I would have teared worse than his cut but I doubt it. I should have at least been informed before he did it!

Best OBGYN in Brevard County. Saved my life after a harrowing experience with another doctor. I won't trust anyone else by Gomez from here on out. He is amazing, kind, caring and very professional.

They lied about why they were not excepting Florida Blue-Blue Select patients. When I called Florida Blue to report his office because he is still contracted with them and refusing service (the excuse given was because they were not getting payments from this specific insurance provider) they called the office while I was on on the line and claimed they're panel was closed, that they had exceeded the maximum number of patients that their contract would allow. Why lie?
