The staff doesn't care about patients. I don't even think they listen. We've been fighting health issues since October 2022. 1st Er trip for said symptoms ' Thanksgiving 2nd er trip after me asking for a hida scan they said ok but not after going around and around. Begging to help with repetitive issues that lead to gallbladder weight considerably losing too fast at an unhealthy way for 3mo. Asking for more tests etc. Had to beg and run the CT tests results in person just to get a hida scan issued by Marek who has never seen patient before. I asked a few times even recently if they even cared that they have watched their patient Withering away even showing signs of jaundice and got NO RESPONSE

I saw Dr. Marek on Oct. 23, 2018 for the last time. A few hours later my femur snapped. I had repeatedly complained about instability of my legs, and said it felt like I would break my hip or snap my femur. He was not concerned. During the 5 days I was in the hospital I was never contacted by Marek. The trauma surgeon’s first question was are you taking bisphosphonates (Fosamax)? Answer: yes, 15 years. Marek never recommended discontinuing, even though I listed it on my current meds at each visit. Now, max duration on this drug is 4 years. Trauma surgeon ex-rayed other leg, and it was ready to snap at any time. I had broken leg surgery internal fixation rod that day, and a year later the other leg done. Marek’s office had a lot of turn over in staff and PAs in the previous 5 years, with office care and insurance issues becoming more questionable. I was a patient for 25 years. I have never been back there. Was too upset to review until now.

Dr Marek is one of those rare doctors who have a healing touch. It comes not only from his extensive experience but also from a caring heart. I have been seeing Dr Marek for about 15 years, and couldn't recommend him any higher. He is intuitive about disease and treatment, not just highly educated, as he also carries a degree in pharmacology, not just a physician.

Office required an additional appointment (+co-pay) to review lab results that came back normal. They had never done this before...we always received info via phone.
