Going to OCLI Rockville Centre, Garden City and Lynbrooke for over 10 years and have had some good and some terrible experiences. Staff were often rude and did not communicate in the RVC office. Everyone was rushed, with long waits in between many eye tests administered. Nothing was explained about test results. A glaucoma specialist, Dr. Carronia, always acted like a technical specialist, but not a human being, and would talk in jargon about eye test results to assistants in the office, but never explain to the patient. He was rude and abusive in a final appointment and stated alarming things about both retinas, then stomped out of the room before any questions could be asked. This resulted in seeing an OCLI retina specialist who found abnormalities in one retina, but not the other, and a worrisome year and a half before finding a very good eye doctor and an excellent retina specialist, who actually found what was wrong in the one retina and began treating it.

Been a patient of OCLI for a few years for various conditions. To be very frank, I have received exceptional care from both Dr. Coronia and Dr. Stoller not to mention the entire staff which are very accommodating and professional. Am extremely happy with my level of care and results form OCLI and would recommend them kin a heart beat.

My daughter saw Dr. Caronia after being referred as an emergency by optometrist. They squeezed her in right away. The entire office was efficient, caring and helpful. Dr. Caronia was very thorough and discussed the problem with us. She needed to be seen right away by a neurologist who did not have any availability. Dr. Caronia was very persistent in getting us the appt with the neurologist and even followed up on a Saturday to see how my daughter was doing. Great experience.
