Avoid this Doctor
I won't go into details but the 2 times we went the experience was awful. The tech did the tests wrong, doctor blamed me, he jerked my head and said he could not help me if I did'nt look the correct way. I was there 5 hours. The second visit, I left after waiting for 3 hours as everyone in the waiting room was complaining about him. It is sad, there are not a lot of choices in Corpus.

Wait times can be long, but that is because he will spend whatever time is necessary for the patients care.

Terrible. Was in his office five hours. At the end, he admitted he didn't have the expertise to do anything for me. Waste of time and money.

Been under Dr. Kuffel's care since 2001 and have come to rely on his honest, direct manner. I refer all my friends, acquaintances, colleagues, etc to seek his opinion first in eye health needs. During this time, he has treated my optic nerve issues, glaucoma, cataracts, etc... and gives me complete confidence of his care.

I wanted to get a second opinion. A week later I get a letter from kuffels office saying he was dropping me as a patient. Something is wrong with a doctor that does business like that.

Went for Central Retinal Vein Occlusion appointment and eye injections. We did not wait more than 20 min in the waiting room, though we got there right when they opened. The staff was extremely personable and friendly. Dr Kuffel was light-hearted, professional and helpful. Would recommend him.

Nastiest, dirtiest office I have EVER BEEN TO. I can't believe people actually let this doctor treat them! He is in the medical field for the money only! He admitted to overbooking patients to make up the ones that don't show up! He said that he would go broke if he didn't overbook! My appointment was for 2:00pm today I didn't get in to this doctor until 6:30pm! Their were patients in the lobby asleep because they had been waiting for so long.... Absolutely awful!!!
