Worst doctor
Dr. Reiss is a horrible doctor. He never showed up at the hospital both times I had to go until after I was about to be discharged. Did he ever tell me he wouldn't be there to deliver my baby? No! Did he even express remorse when I almost went into labor at 30 weeks because he blew off my concerns? Nope. Did he ever even ask how I was doing when I cried because of how mean he was being? Nope he told me to "pull it together." I was a number to him. He rushed me through every appointment and when I tried to transfer, I couldn't. And I couldn't get through to him on any number on my emergency route to the hospital and he blamed it on his office staff. But he definitely wasn't sorry and told me he was "not on call." So basically, screw me. He has no empathy and he does not care. I heard from others he was a great doctor, and maybe he was. But he isn't anymore. I won't go into more details but I don't recommend.

Dr Reiss is absolutely the best doctor. I have been a critical care nurse for almost 10 years and his confidence and care are amazing . He stayed late both times I was in labor to deliver my boys and when I had complications he was my backbone ! He was reassuring , thorough and kind. He is an expert in his field and I will never leave his practice !

I was incredibly disappointed with the care and what felt was lack of concern I experienced with Dr Reiss. I was a patient of his for many years. However once I ran into health issues I found him questioning the concerns I raised, not invested in helping me get a diagnosis and very difficult to reach. I was sick, and afraid, and had to leave multiple messages before I got a return call from his office. I am sad to say that I didn't feel supported or cared for by Dr Reiss or his office staff.

Dr. Ronald Reiss is the best GYN. This is based on the many years he was my GYN and I can say this because he became my GYN when I was 18 years old and I am now 52 years old. While he is no longer my GYN as he is no longer in NYC, I can honestly say that he is a gem. He was professional and knowledgeable. His staff was always wonderful. I will never find anyone as wonderful as he was. You are fortunate if you continue to have him as your physician.
