Never mind even close to on time, dismissive, and unwilling to do anything beyond tell me I’ll never fully recover from my stroke. I had incredibly high blood pressure (210/111) last visit and all he did was tell me I should go see my general practitioner. I’ve never had a more unhelpful doctor, I’m going to find better and will not return

Rude, arrogant & dismissive
Rude, arrogant, uncaring and uninterested in my health issues. Have never been to a doctor that stated, from the minute he walked into the exam room, that he only cared and had time to listen to one issue. I thought doctors wanted to know and understand what was ailing a patient to see if there was a correlation. But after waiting an hour in the waiting room and then nearly 30 minutes in the exam room Dr Turck told me, flat out, he was only interested in hearing about one issue, not the four I was looking for help with. And the exam, what a joke. He spent more time typing on his laptop and avoiding eye contact than he did examing me. I have been to a lot of doctors in my time but never experienced anything quite like this. Why MAB keeps someone like this is beyond me.

Amazing Nuerologist
Doctor Turk actually cares about his patients, he might see abrupt, but that's just his personality. He listens to me, and does take into my consideration. I also am his first CRPS patient, and he's learning about my condition from me, and follows my lead for what works best for me. He's been willing to do a follow up MRI, NCS and EMG.

Bad Doctor
Never met a more rude individual in my life. We came into the H from the ER with my 87 year old mother in law. She was admitted to Viera Hospital and Dr Turck was on call. He would not even be bother to answer a few questions that my husband and I had about our mom. I followed him out if the room and down the hall and he would give me one word answers and not even stop walking away. He acted as tho he was mad at the world before we ever spoke a word to him. Very uncaring. Other than his appalling behavior everyone one else at Viera was exceptional. The ER doctors, the hospital doctor, the nurses and the CNA’s were all fantastic.

I walked out of a very unprofessional office, did my work web searching for another neurologist in my area and was lucky enough to find Dr. Turck. It couldn’t have been better.

Dr Turck, in my opinion, does not care about his patients or their illness He is rude, dismissive and talks over you He will not talk to you on the phone, he leaves the uncomfortable conversations to his staff. If you want a doctor who truly cares about your health and well-being keep looking.

Brain aneurysm recovery & neuropathy necessitate a polite, patient & helpful neurologist. I had to leave a wonderful one due to her move and was referred to Dr. Turck. His rudeness, curt attitude & dismissiveness during first visit left me looking for another neurologist. I will not return for a follow-up with him.

Dr. Turck has always been kind and knowing, he listens to concerns i have and has never been rude or "uncaring" as some others seem to put it. I believe he is a caring and thoughtful individual as is his staff, and his office hours are odd because he works at the local hospitals as well.

Dr. Turck refused to acknowledge my previous MRI and electroencephalogram (EEG) results showing spikes/ epileptiform abnormalities. He said he did not need to see those. He took me off my medications prescribed by my previous neurologist stating that my prior doctor was too old school. I told him the medication helped but he was dismissive of anything my prior doctor or I had to say. He offered no explanation and said to see him again in another month. It seemed like he was ready for me to leave from the onset of the appointment. He's rude and abrupt.

Seems knowledgeable, but lacks empathy for Parkinson’s patients and comes across dismissive. It would appear that Parkinson’s patients aren’t his specialty, rather neural studies appear his focus. Very restricted office hours.

Dr. Turck down to earth, makes you feel so at ease, spends ALOT of time with you, listens to you closely and very sympathetic to how you are feeling and very eager to help you. I wish he could be my doctor for everything! Honestly I am telling you the truth, I am from NY and in NY have never met a more compassionate doctor; moved here four years ago and still made my rounds to doctors, he is #1!! He's extremely knowledgeable and very in-tuned. Thank you Dr. Turck, you are my blessing.

Dr Turck misdiagnosed me with Parkinson's telling me that his gut feeling was that I had it. I was put on PD medications which are known for severe and damaging side effects. I did my homework on the Parkinsons and spoke with those that had the disease and everyone said I needed a 2nd opinion. My 2nd opinion was not afraid to tell me that I had a disease that was beyond his ability. He recommended Mayo Clinic or another large institution.
