Dr. Roopa Duggal, MD

Dr. Duggal explains everything in depth and doesn't make the patient feel rushed. She is very detailed and made me feel comfortable with her.

This is the first time I was seeing Dr. Duggal. My previous long-time gynecologist left Capital Womens Care and I did a lot of online research to find someone else. Dr. Duggal was professional, listened to my concerns and explained everything very well. I didn't have a long wait for see her, which I appreciated since it shows she respects her patients' time. Would recommend her to anyone looking for a gynecologist

Dr. Duggal is an excellent doctor. She takes her time and actually listens and addresses all of my concerns. She explains her medical advice and procedures in depth so there are no feelings of doubt she is providing the best care. She is a very knowledable and caring doctor.

I had a recent appointment with Dr Duggal. She is extremely competent, kind and thorough. She discussed my need to take Calcium as I am post meapausal. She previously ordered imvexxy for me and asked how it was working. My sister has just been diagnosed with serous epithelial metastatic cancer so she had bloodwork down for the braxxa testing and 40 other tests primarily for issues my daughters may get, since I’ve had a TAH in the past. I like her very much and am glad I chose her as my gynecologist. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I recently visited Dr. Duggal for my OB/GYN needs, and the experience was exceptional. The staff was courteous, and Dr exhibited a high level of professionalism and empathy. The office atmosphere was calming, making me feel at ease. Dr. Duggal took the time to address my concerns, explaining procedures thoroughly. I appreciate the comprehensive care and would highly recommend Dr for anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate OB/GYN.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Duggal for over ten years. She reviews my history, asks about my concerns, listens, and addresses concerns. She’s a skilled surgeon with an excellent bedside manner.

Dr. Doogal truthfully saved my life and my daughters. I delivered my daughter in June 2021. I had a lot of complications throughout my pregnancy and I was only 29 years old. I experienced gestational diabetes, severe preeclampsia and postpartum heart issues. She gave me honest feedback while I tried to naturally labor that ultimately led to a c-section to save our lives. There were no complications with the c-section and she followed up on me regularly. She’s the best and I’ll have my next with her this year too!

This is the second visit with Dr. Duggal, whom I find very knowledgeable, interested, competent, and shows care for the patient. I feel very comfortable talking to her about any issues I may have, and that she will provide the necessary information and advise.

Wow! Unfortunately the staff-Donna Jo in particular- ruined the review for what would otherwise be pretty good for the Doctor. She called our home and said to my daughter (we were on speaker phone) quote “Someone on our staff, and I think you know what I’m talking about, said you were disrespectful toward her, selfishly refused to wear a mask, and yawned in her face”. WHAT? Are we in high school? My daughter is 24, and patient there getting a blood draw. She was allowed into the office without a mask and was not offered one either. They then proceeded to have her lab work done. Further, Donna went on for 10 minutes lecturing us how selfish people are that aren’t wearing masks in public. When I challenged her on why their staff broke the protocol and allowed an unmasked person into the office she had no answer. Bottom line-deal with accountability in your own employees and if they break protocol, don’t allow your patients to be the scapegoats for your staffs poor performance.

Dr. Duggal is very kind and seems great. However, some of the nurses treat patients horribly and disrespectfully. When I showed to get lab work done, I unfortunately did not have a mask. I wasn’t offered one but told I should wear one by the nurse who did my blood work. I informed her I didn’t have one and she didn’t speak another word. I thanked her for my lab work and left. I receive a call being accused of walking into the office without knocking which did not happen, I was accused of speaking disrespectfully and argumentatively which did not occur, accused of being offered a mask and refusing when I was never offered one, accused of yawning in a nurses face which did not occur and was told this in a very disrespectful, patronizing tone for 12 minutes being lectured as if I am a child. I let the nurse speak uninterrupted before respectfully and stating that the events I’m being accused of are incorrect and stated what happened from the second I arrived and knocked as you’re supposed

Frankly, if I was to have another child then Dr. Duggal is the exact person I want to deliver my baby.

In 2005 I was pregnant with my first child, and Dr. Duggal was my doctor. Dr. Duggal was kind, patient and made my first pregnancy and birth the easiest and best experience of my life. I cannot thank Dr. Duggal and her staff enough for everything they did for me and my daughter. I now live in California, but if I was still in Leesburg, I would be a patient of Dr. Duggal for life.

I would Never ever recommend this practice!! I had gotten some tests done but didn't hear back regarding my results for over 2 weeks. That's after I called several times and finally a nurse called back and left a VM. The front desk is very very rude.
