I like Dr Patel very much. He is personable, listens without cutting you off or assumes what you are going to say, highly knowledgeable yet not condescending or dismissive. He is a very good doctor. This isn't about Dr Patel, but since this the urology department and when patients provide a urinary sample why aren't the lab results posted to MyChart? What is the point of these urinary samples if they aren't being tested and/or patients cannot get results? Also, was seeing Dr Patel for previous oxalates in urine, but did express having reoccurring UTI. Does UCI urology not test for this if the patient discusses this with physician?

Observed a very professional caring Staff and of course Dr. Patel. He instilled in me a strong feeling Of confidence in him as my doctor As did the entire staff.

After my recent surgery, I was placed in a room with someone who screamed and cried all night until the next day. I think it would have been better to move me to a hallway rather than make me go through that nightmare! However, I have no doubt that in the future, they will organize things with more tact. Thank you for everything.
