Dr.Mathew was very courteous and took more time to explain to me the complex procedures involved for the biopsy and diagnosis of my husband's cancer. My husband had good quality of life, at the end of his life in battling cancer. Dr.Mathew help by specialized procedures of cleaning up tumor from my husband's airway with laser. He helped drain fluid from his chest, with a tube which we could take care of comfortably at home. He could breathe well until his demise. It was a tough time for us.

Dr.Mathew did listen to me when I had been short of breath over 6 months. He went through all the tests I had at John Hopkins. I had been evaluated at John Hopkins and they had given up on me. Now 7 months down from the appointment I feel a lot better and with pulmonary rehab and finding out the cause for it after multiple tests I am back to re claiming my life and activity

Dr. Matthew did a pulmonary function test on me. He then listened to my breathing for less then 20 seconds. He then announced there was nothing wrong with my lungs. I had been short of breath for over 6 months. He said there was nothing else he could do. I went to another pulmonolgist that did a bronchoscopy and found MRSA and strep infection in and around my lungs. Is it possible Dr. Matthew had not heard of a broncoscopy? It's much more likely he didn't want to go to any further trouble.
