Dr. Rosina Chen, DO

Terrible at best, incompetent on many aspects. Unable to inform patient of necessary documentations for medical needs and misinforming on various occasions. Highly do not recommend , please deter and value your health by opting for another Dr.

I would never recommend her to my family and friends. It would be like sentencing them to a death sentence. She will never get around to seeing you. God speed to those that choose her as their HMO. If you are looking to switch to her, RUN.

I switched to Dr Chen's office after a horrible experience with a prior provider and couldn't be happier. The staff are good not great. However, Dr. Rosina Chen is one of the most caring and thorough physicians I ever visited. She never made me feel rushed and listens to all my concerns. She even leans on the side of being motherly for me, which is excellent. I highly recommend this office. The other criticisms are real though. You have to schedule a visit far out and they do ask for a CC upfront for copays. However, these are small prices to pay for a good doctor in my opinion. So I will discount one star for these issues.

Be aware of their office policy. They ask for credit card information upfront in case your insurance ends up denying the claim. They will not call you first before they actually run your credit card and leave you to battle the insurance claim by yourself, even though they were the one who filed it incorrectly.

Will only give you attention when you're a new patient but after that, it's like making an appointment with the president. Nearly impossible!! At least have the decency to refill my prescription when my pharmacy calls 3 times!! It's not my fault their office is unable to accommodate me.

I had blood work done on 3 occasions and 2 out of 3 times I had to call several times to get my results. I did not talk to the doctor. I only spoke to the nurse. One time I was told that because the doctor had been on vacation, they were behind on the paperwork. The other time I called 3 times to get my results after more than 3 weeks had passed since my blood panel. Each time I was told someone will return my call. More than a month later, I had no return calls. Too bad, cuz I like R.Chen DO.
