I have been seeing Dr Lynds for 2.5 yrs & have had type 1 diabetes since I was 7 yrs old. I have had laser surgery to stop bleeding in my eye, lost vision in both eyes at different times, & have had surgery to take a leaking bliid vessel out that was causing vision loss in front of my retina. He is a very skilled doctor & had a decent sense of humor as well. Treats his patients well & travels to 3-4 locations to see many of rhe people who really need him in multiple areas. I have had 3 surgeries with him (2 on the right eye & 1 on the left), not including the laser in his office over a few month span. I also have recieved shots in my eye to prevent possible blood bleed after surgery for the 2nd & 3rd surgeries. I had a bleed after the first surgery which caused me to need the second. I see him now every 3-4 months to keep up with any possible issues & I really appreciate him as a doctor. The long wait times can be a pain but when you have a really good specialist who is in your town only once a week, his dau gets pretty busy so I understand the wait. Sometimes the staff will give me a heads up & keep my place if I have to run to do a quick errand but I rarely ask that of them.

Dr. Lynds is currently with the North Texas Retina Consultants. He travels to other ophthalmology offices in the area. I saw him at Hayley Eye Clinic in Wichita Falls. Despite a long wait, it was worth it. He is knowledgeable, has good rapport, explains the condition and treatment clearly. I highly recommend him.
