Excellent Surgeon
Dr. Richer operated on both my elbows (2020 & 2023), for torn common tendons. My right elbow is better than 100% after 3 years. I’m 10 weeks post op from my left elbow and 95% healed & I’m confident it will be better than 100% once I build my strength back up. He doesn’t push for surgery unless absolutely necessary, so we did explore other options with my left elbow before agreeing to surgery. He is kind, humble and has a great bedside manner, and an amazing surgeon. The physical therapy team in Fairfield (Lori & Megan) are fantastic too. I would recommend him and his PT team 100x overHe also treated my daughter on multiple occasions. He found the tiniest fracture in her elbow that most would not be able to diagnose, and when she had another elbow injury, I pushed for surgery, he said to wait, and he was right, wasn’t necessaryIt’s unfortunate that one person, who left 2 negative reviews are bringing Dr Richer’s 5-star rating down.

Excellent Care from an Excellent Hand Surgeon
I had bilateral hand surgery with Dr. Richer and my hands feel great! He was thorough in his diagnosis and clinical testing, caring and informative during the surgery process, and his follow up care was exactly what I needed. In addition, his PA Bridget and MA Francoise are great- intelligent and compassionate! Amazing experience all around!

Thoughtful and Compassionate
Dr. Richer is a thoughtful and compassionate person, and an amazing doctor and surgeon. I had seen three other local hand surgeons, but no one explained my problem as well as Dr. Richer. He took great care of me and fixed my wrist.
