I experienced a very poor outcome after cataract & two (2) lens implant surgeries on the same eye. After a routine eye exam for new glasses & contacts I was convinced that it was time for cataract surgery with a multi-focal lens implant to improve my vision. I was told that my astigmatism would be eliminated with the implant thus improving my distance vision and enable me to identify faces from across the street that I have never been able to do. Sounded very exciting, but that did not happen. Even though the actual surgery went well, my overall vision, both near & distance was greatly diminished. Everything was extremely blurry in the surgery eye making it difficult and dangerous to drive or even walk around. After several unreturned phone calls and a re-examination Dr Barad agreed to perform corrective surgery to replace the multifocal lens with a standard single vision lens. This new lens was to be equivalent to my previous glasses and/or contacts where distance vision was go

Sought DR Barad do to her expertise in laser assisted lipo. I personally did not feel liposuction should require a general anesthetic....in my case. From my initial appointment, through the procedure and the follow up i was very satisfied. I am excited to see the final results as I believe the time and care Dr Barad spent during the procedure will manifest itself in a very positive result.
