Dr Loo has done two procedures on my eyes. A detached retina and removal of an artificial lens that had detached. I was impressed with his performance and his bedside manner. His personality has always made me feel comfortable with the procedures. He takes the time to answer all my questions and has never made me feel I am just a number but a person he cares about. Great all around doctor.

Excellent service
I am a long term patient and because of the care I receive from Dr. Loo and his team would highly recommend to others needing the medical care needed. You just feel like family. Dr. Loo is always cheerful and explains your medical needs. The wait is 10-15 minutes and check-in online is an excellent reminder for your appointment.

Narrowly focused; needs to work on patient side
Dr. Loo recently repaired my detached retina. The pre-op and discharge (after surgery) went fine. Dr. Loo had a reassuring and comforting demeanor. Post-operative care was concerning. I had to ask most of the questions and to follow up, from Dr. Loo’s answers, to get more insight. For example, I asked why my eye was still red. He said it was conjunctivitis. No additional info was given. My ophthalmologist sent me back, for a third post-op appointment since he had questions. On this appointment Dr. Loo was not aware of the questions, in my file, that were sent by my ophthalmologist. Dr. Loo answered the questions but, again, gave no further insight or depth. I had to ‘push’ for more info. I felt that Dr. Loo was narrowly focused and was not open to my questions. The conversation with Dr. Loo seemed adversarial at times. I thanked Dr. Loo and left. While I was checking out, a staff member brought me some eye meds. Why wasn’t this given to me during my first post-op visit?

Caring, thorough, professional
I've been a patient of Dr. Loo's for several years with both wet and dry age-related macular degeneration. When injections were necessary they were almost painless. Dr. Loo explains the condition and treatment in an understandable and patient manner. When their office closed in Laughlin, NV, where I live, I followed Dr. Loo to Henderson, NV, which is a 1 1/2-hour drive each way. I highly recommend Dr. Loo. Under his care, I have not needed an injection for two years and only need to see him every six months. He is caring, friendly, and helpful, as is his staff. PLEASE NOTE: Call before going as his office address has changed.

Best Eye Injections
I’ve had eye injections almost monthly since 2009 and have seen almost every other provider at least once. Dr Loo has been my permanent provider for about 8 years. He gives the best eye injections. They are as near painless as you can get, super speedy and efficient. He always makes sure to explain what’s changing with your vision and does what’s right for the patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Loo for your retina care and eye injections.
