Dr. Roy Semlacher, MD

15 years ago in Sacramento, Ca, I had a flesh eating disease, necrotizing fasciitis, in and around both of my eyes. He took skin from areas of my body and totally reconstructed the infected area. Anyone that sees me now does not even notice. It's unbelievable what a fantastic job he did. Could not recommend more highly........ The skin was totally removed because of the infection. He did a complete restriction of the eye

I met Dr Semlacher to followup on an accident two weeks prior. He had been the consulting plastic surgeon for a trip to the ER. My daughter drove me to the appointment and we waited about 45 mins for him to arrive from an emergency visit at the hospital across the street. We were ok with that. However, Dr. was not prepared for my visit; he didn't have my original CT scans, so said "to the best of his recollection" and then described my facial fractures. He said I would probably have an "indentation" on my cheekbone but it didn't necessarily warrant surgery. He explained this while looking at my (beautiful) daughter and not looking at me (the patient). Lessons learned: don't wait 45 mins for any doctor, and don't take my beautiful daughter into the exam room. I'm sure he's competent but the visit left me feeling not heard or examined properly.

If you are thinking about having anything done you don't have to look any further than Dr Semlacher. He and his staff are wonderful.

Dr. Semlacher performed a Breast Reconstruction after a double mastectomy. His office was always very easy to work with, welcoming and accommodating to any needs I had. I had to get breast reconstruction after a double mastectomy. His office was friendly, responsive and easy to work with to schedule appointments. His focus was on restoring a good look to the breasts. He listened to what I wanted and he gave me what I asked for. When there was difficulty on getting an OR scheduled in a timely manner, Dr Semlacher went out of his way to get it scheduled. I am pleased with the results and the work that he did.

I first met Dr. Semlacher in Sacramento 2007 for breast agumentation. I was extremely pleased with his work. Now 11 years later I decided to go up another cup size. When I found out he moved. I knew no amount of distance would keep me from seeing him again. When I called his office his receptionist was accommodating and gave me all the information I needed. My first breast augmentation was done by Dr. Semlacher here in Sacramento Ca. I was very pleased with the results. Now that it was time to get them replaced I knew I wanted Dr. Semlacher, only to find out he is in Tacoma Wa. I was afraid the process would be difficult arraigning from Ca, but it went extremely smooth. Dr. Semlacher is a wonderful surgeon, explains everything and very caring of his patients. My wife consulted Dr. Semlacher twice. Both consults were identical even though the second consult was to be pre surgical. The Dr. told my wife the surgical procedure would be difficult due to her age. Interestingly another Dr. had told my wife the same thing a year earlier. However the first Dr. examined my wife. When he did the exam the first Dr. stated the procedure would be far easier than expected. Dr. Semlacher never examined my wife. Why not? Too Arrogant?

Dr Semlacher is absolutely the best. He preformed Breast augmentation without any complications. My personal doctor would express during yearly exams how well of a job my surgeon had done in comparison to other patients she has. At the surgery center the nurses would say how lucky I was for having Dr Semlacher. After eleven years, I returned to him to repeat the same surgery with same implants. He is very maticulous and you will be in good hands.

Dr Semlacher is absolutely fantastic! He is incredibly knowledgeable, polite, professional and caring. His work is very natural looking and complimentary to your own figure. I had no bruising and minimal pain. He has a kind, gentle bedside manor and is very trustworthy. I felt he had my best interest at hand and took excellent care of me during the whole process. Dr. Semlacher has an amazing talent! In June 2016 I had a double mastectomy w/ reconstruction started at the same time. I ended up very unhappy w/ my results and the Dr., so I had to search for a new Dr. to complete my reconstruction. I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Semlacher & he was willing to take my case. He is honest, straight forward, confident & has great bedside manor! Not only did he make me feel beautiful again, he brought my smile back!! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!
