I was randomly assigned to her or she to me due to scheduling issues. Great bedside manners, explains patiently and well. Echo the positive reputation. Hope there was a way to see her again.

Different and Meticulous
I have been a patient for long with people who call themselves physicians from UT Southwestern Mineral Disorder and Endocrinology division. I suffer from Osteoporosis, and kidney stones, and being diabetic and a cancer survivor does not help. It seemed to me that my previous doctors were sleepwalking me through the diagnosis and treatment. They were nice, but, not effective. Dr. Ruban Dhaliwal is different in that she is actually trying to diagnose and treat instead of being in a trance state doing bare minimum and taking my money.

Very Good Doctor
I am her patient at Parkland Hospital, and she is very good, but also very strict in a nice way. She has given me advice that my previous doctors have failed to provide me in 20 years. She is courteous, does not rush the appointments, and in my personal experience, she is top 10% of doctors at Parkland and UTSW.

10+ for Physician, -5 for the Facility
Very few physicians remember full patient history without looking at charts and medications. Dr. Ruban Dhaliwal has a wonderful memory, remembers meeting discussions from years back and had immense patience with me. Good luck in wherever she is going. She will be dearly missed.

One of the best
A compassionate care provider who listens, listens and then listens some more. She has been one of the very best physicians in Syracuse whom I could rely on always for anything. Her move out from Syracuse is such a big loss for the community. Thank you for your support and care Dr. Dhaliwal.

Dr. Ruban Dhaliwal is an excellent rare bone disease specialist. I used to visit SUNY Upstate and it's Joslyn Diabetes Center only because of her. I believe she has moved to Harvard now. I hope she considers opening a practice in Syracuse so that i can be treated and diagnosed by her. Since she has gone, the service level, satisfaction level and quality of diagnosis has dropped significantly.

I started seeing Dr Dhaliwal during her fellowship at Joslin and have continued under her care for about 5 years now. She is excellent at remembering care decisions she has made in the past, as well as personal details about my life. My experiences with her should be what every doctor strives to deliver.
