Dr. Rubens Sievert, MD

Dr. Sievert ordered blood work and a couple of ultrasounds of my liver over 2 months ago. Despite my leaving 5 voicemails, having my insurance call him, and making an actual visit to his office he has yet to call me with the test results.I went to another endo and she immediately ordered more blood work and told me to see a 'liver doctor' as soon as possible.I saw the liver specialist and he told me I have chronic level 3 liver disease. He ordered even more blood tests, an MRI of my liver, and some other tests. The bottom line is, that it appears I have some very serious issues with my liver and Dr. Sievert refused to talk to me about it!

I love Dr. Sievert & he has been my endo for over 10 years. When I started with him I loved his staff but after the move to the current office there have been a lot of new staff and they are not as friendly. They were still helpful. It is difficult to get an appt as the doctor is super busy and his appts book up fast. They are about 3 months out. Linda his #1 assistant is the best, I cannot say enough good things about her and the doctor himself. Unfortunately they are having a contract negotiation with my current insurance company CIGNA and I will have to switch to another endo hopefully I like them as much as Dr. Sievert's.

I really like Dr Sievert. He was an excellent doctor but forget to get any follow up answers. His office simply blocks you from DrSievert. they will never return your call now matter how important. This might seems like you can overcome this but when you need help and answers on diagnoses, you will get no responses. Linda, the office manager simply refused to take my call or return any of the multiple messages I left her. Absolutely appalling. Dr Sievert, please re-evaluate your staff so more people can get to see your good work.

I made an appointment to see this specialist in March. They had nothing until nearly July. Yesterday I called to ask some details 3 days before the appointment, and they casually told me my appointment date had been moved. I had plans to be out of town during the time they moved my appointment to. I cannot recall any notice from their office. Needless to say this is unacceptable and extremely inconsiderate of their patients to do this they way they did. Looking for another specialist.

I think Dr. Sievert is an excellent Dr. I have always had a great experience with him and his staff. The only problem with this office is that he is so busy and he is, I believe the ONLY Endo Dr. for medicaid patients that there is ALWAYS a long wait for an appointment. This is not his fault. We are lucky such a wonderful Dr. is accepting this Ins. Forever grateful Mrs. Scarola
