Pros: Very thorough, listens, and attentive. She stays up to date on current research and new medications. Recommends vitamins and supplements that have improved my child’s symptoms and helped keep him on the minimal effective dose of prescribed medications. Cons: waiting room is small, frequent turnover over front desk staff, appointments are usually running behind. Honestly, she is so good at what she does that the list of cons doesn’t even matter. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Thomas has been my son's physician for many years now. She is attentive and compassionate. She is knowledgeable and current on newer medications and therapies. She is open to listening to our concerns and requests as well as understanding where our son is "coming from" whether he participates fully or "shuts down" for an appt. I credit her with a lot of the success that we have seen and am very glad we have her on our son's team. If we have anything at all to say, it is always a challenge with new receptionists rotating through often. I wouldn't say they are unfriendly, just always feels like response times are slow when trying to hear back through the receptionist. Dr. Thomas has always been very responsive to any crisis we've had.

Awful. She doesn’t really pay attention to her patients and gives off a vibe that she could care less. She doesn’t understand doseage amounts for medication at all, even when you request it.

Dr. Thomas is very attentive and truly seems to care about her patients. The office staff situation has been an issue. The first receptionist we encountered was rude and very unprofessional. My personal information (address/phone #) was not entered into the computer correctly, and several months later it still hasn't been corrected. I've never received an appointment confirmation call. Since then, I've seen two other young girls working as the receptionist. My guess is that maybe this is their first job. Dr. Thomas should consider spending a bit more money to get a quality receptionist. They should also invest in sprucing up the offices. The Plank Rd. location needs TLC inside, and the Stafford location needs TLC outside. Scheduling appointments can be difficult if you work full-time, unless you manage to snag one of the coveted Saturday appointments. I'm a bit worried by the fact that Dr. Thomas doesn't accept many insurance plans. Why not?

The Dr is very good with children but the office staff is horrible to deal with. They never process messages correctly, and it will take over 24 hours for them to call you back if you leave a message. If your child is in crisis and you need a responsive call back office staff, stay away. It is really sad as the Dr is wonderful but with the office staff they have you might want to look else where.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This woman is a HORRIBLE doctor. I would never recommend her to anybody I know. Her lack of eye contact when she is talking, her staff is very disrespectful and not friendly. My whole appointment she was on her phone texting. It was like her mind was else where. When you call t is very hard to actually call and speak with this woman. I will NEVER come back to this Dr, even if my life depended on it.

Dr. Thomas was wonderful! She is a one-of-a-kind psychiatrist who actually listens to their patient, takes time with them, has conversations, takes detailed notes, asks pertinent questions and reports appropriately to the parent. I only wish she could follow teens through into early adulthood. Although wait times were long on occasion, she is well worth the wait. I have 100% confidence in her decisions and highly recommend Dr. Thomas and her caring staff!
