My visit started 1999 at Gateway Medical in Anaheim, Ca. I was sent to see him check my hip pain. Turns out it needed my first hip replacement. It has worked perfectly for 21 years! They are only suppose to last 15years. I had another hip surgery on the left side in 2006 but that was done by another Dr. from Gateway. That hip is slowly giving me a little bit of pain and I can see down the road a bit and it will have to be replaced after 14years. My point being Dr Gore is the BEST orthopedic dr in this state. I can't say how wonderful this man is and what a great surgeon he was to me! I know nothing last forever but this hip has done me quite well because of Dr Gore's experience and care and I expect to have for several more years. If I ever could run into him again, I would love to say again to him, "Thank you Dr Gore for a perfect hip. You did more than a fine job. Its a remarkable job!" If you guys don't choose Dr Gore as you doctor, you'd be crazy not to. Michele Rhoads, Anaheim

This is an outstanding doctor- He comes in and sits down and makes you feel comfortable- He lets you explain your background and TRULY LISTENS to what you have to say This is a rarity in the time of fear and rushing to keep people safe- I highly recommend him and really get a feeling of compassion and care that he wants to do the best for his patients- just to keep this an honest evaluation I was not his patient but was with the person who needed the visit I would definitely feel very comfortable having him operate on myself or family

Waited 3 wks for appointment when one knee locked due to bone spurs. He wouldn't discuss surgery for this. Finally got a second opinion and surgery was recommended and done. Fell, simple fracture of the wrist, healed with deformity. Dr Gore left the room when I asked about it. I don't think he's allowed to do surgery through Health Net ins.

Dr. Gore told me "what it was all about". In other words the truth... He laid out the potential good and bad of surgery as well as what I will be dealing with. There was no BS and his "Bedside Manner" is right on! I like working with people that will tel it like it is... He did and I was very satisfied with my visit.

I would not recommend Dr. Gore to my family or friends in need of knee surgery due to the poor communication problems that I experienced with this doctor following complications which resulted after my knee surgery took place on 11/15/2017. Dr. Gore refused to follow up with a recommended MRI of my knee, after an x-ray of my Knee on 4/11/2017 revealed a tibial plateau fracture had occurred following the knee surgery, and my complaints of ongoing severe to moderate pain.

I first met Dr. gore in 2007 when I was sent to him for carpal tunnel. He operated on my right hand soon after and has seen me for osteoarthritis many, many times since. He has actually operated on me 3 times more in the last year. Most recently 3 days ago. he has always been professional, warm and caring. he explains the problem, educates on the solution and what to expect after. I can not recommend him highly enough. Yes, there is often a wait time but he has never made me feel rushed.

I was very satisfied with Dr. Gore. However, once surgery was completed I only ever got to see the PA no matter what problems I was experiencing or how often I requested to see Dr. Gore. Office staff never helpful. Always significant wait time.
