Migraine,Occipital Neuralgia care.
I met with Dr. Nanavati today for the first time. She was wonderful. She was running on time, and greeted me with a smile. She listened to my lengthy medical history, gave full eye contact the whole time. She told me her opinions and explained how she does certain procedures. I received a nerve block, and it was painless. Will be following up with her in 3 months.

horrible doctor
Telehealth
Did not listen at all. States symptoms not consistent with migraine and then ten minutes later says it is a migraine. Did not take suggestion from other doctors on what the issue could be. Seemed like she just wanted to prescribe meds and move on.

Thorough and understanding
I’m surprised by the other reviews. Just had a phone visit. Dr. Nanavati was very kind, thorough, and reassuring. I didn’t feel rushed or ignored. I’m hopeful for some relief and am grateful for her time and expertise.

I saw her twice at Kaiser and filed grievances against her both times. She is cold, condescending, and fights you for any test or referral. I fired her today and wish I had done earlier. There are other KP neurologists. Run!

My cardiologist wrote me a referral to see Dr Rupa L Nanavati as a result of a POTS diagnosis. Rupa did not review my chart prior to her entering the room, I had to go over all of my symptoms and months of diagnoses/dr visits with her. She did not seem knowledgeable about what POTS was. Additionally she was not particularly kind and at the end of the visit diagnosed me with an incorrect diagnosis. It was a waste of my time and resources going to Rupa L. Nanavati.
