Horrible
I waited six months to see Dr. Rupa Shah after her office explicitly told me she specialized in ulcerative colitis. After half a year on the waiting list, they abruptly called the day before my appointment to cancel—saying she doesn’t actually treat UC. This is absolutely unacceptable and beyond frustrating. The lack of communication and professionalism is astounding. Patients managing chronic illnesses like UC don’t have time to waste. We plan our care months in advance, and this kind of negligence disrupts essential treatment. If her office doesn’t know what she treats—or worse, gives out misleading information—how can anyone trust them with their health?Shameful experience. I would not recommend this practice to anyone with serious gastrointestinal needs.

Inexperienced Doctor
She had my 19 yr old daughter get a colonoscopy instead of looking at the root cause of why she's having hard stool which later we discovered it was the meds she was taking. Unbelievable, stay away.

The best doctor I have visited in my life
I recently had the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Shah, and I’m pleased to share my positive experience. Dr. Shah is the single most professional doctor I have ever met in my life. Dr. Shah’s diagnostic skills are of the highest tier of impressiveness, and the speed with which a thorough diagnosis was made was truly reassuring. The recommendation for further testing was both thoughtful and timely, demonstrating a clear commitment to patient care. While every medical procedure has its challenges, I found that Dr. Shah’s team handled everything with professionalism and attention to detail. Although I heard some concerns about post-procedural follow-up, my experience was quite smooth.Overall, I felt extremely well cared for and appreciated the high level of expertise and dedication. If you’re looking for a skilled and attentive healthcare provider, I highly recommend Dr. Shah. She is the best doctor in the world without a question.

She has an excellent bedside manner and is very thorough. I was a neglectful Crohn's patient and she did not judge but instead helped me come up with a game plan for getting everything under control. She set to do's for me and herself which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who may have had a bad experience with a gastro doctor in their past.
