Totally unprofessional
Arrived for 1st appointment 15 minutes early to complete paperwork as requested. Seen by his Medical Assistant, then told the doctor would be in to see me shortly. Waited 40 minutes and he he never appeared. Was never informed by anyone that there was an emergency or any other legitimate reason for the delay. So inconsiderate of patient's time. Highly doubted he would have waited 40 minutes if I didn't arrive for an appointment, especially if I never called explaining why I was late! Totally unprofessional and inconsiderate. I left without being seen by Dr. Atkin.

Extremely thorough. Answers your questions in a calming and understandable manner. Presents all options and explains their procedures. I had postponed surgery for years. Once I met with Dr. Atkin I knew he was the surgeon to address my condition. So glad I did! I highly recommend him.

I would recommend, he has a lot of experience even though I would prefer a female with the same experience for reasons of embarrassment with some issues. Wait times to me are irrelevant, Actually the longer I have to wait, the more I know the MD is taking the time needed with a patient before me and not jarred by staff managers which is pathetic these days so, waiting is never my concern.

Highly recommend this excellent ob-gyn physician to young and older alike. Takes the time to talk over all medical history (goes over all medical issues..doesn't rely only on the history forms the patient completed); also, makes recommendations outside his ob-gyn capacity based on how the patient presented in the initial interview. Explained his plan of action in an understandable manner; encourages asking questions. I was a new patient who had to have bilateral ovaries removed at age 70.
