Very Helpful and caring. He helped me lose about 30 pounds I’d regained after having gastric bypass surgery 13 years prior., although he was not the doctor who did my surgey. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others .

I almost died from my surgery. Would not recommend this surgeon at all.

Dr Gornichec was my dr in Oklahoma, the ONLY reason I chose Dr Gornichec is because at his seminar he said he Plicates his bands. My band operation was a complete success and I lost 135 lbs and kept it off for 2 years. Then unfortunately I got a prolapse in my band and found out my band was NEVER plicated and there was no way to fix it. I had to pay to have it removed which in turn triggered my PTSD and within a year I put all of my weight back on. I am $25k in debt and miserable. He ruined me!

Would not recommend. Dr G was fine but dealing with his staff, billing coordinator, aka, his wife has been a nightmare. I was told my insurance covered my visits to come in. Was about 6 visits in when I got a bill for over $1000. When calling her she told me because my secondary insurance wouldn't cover it, she needed my FAQ's from my primary. Got them to her. Eight months later she turns me over to collections. Isn't it her job to do billing properly? My insurance covers they assure me....OK?
