Dr. Russell Margraf, MD

Dr. Margraf is very competent, you feel that when you talk with him. He listens to your concerns and takes the time to answer your questions. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Russell Margraf and his team saved my life. Excellent care, Excellent bedside manner, He is extremely patient and kind. He put my family at ease from the beginning. I can not say enough about him or his Staff. I am so blessed to be able to walk and talk. The are all a blessing to me and my family.

Dr. Margraff saw me for a consult regarding the cancer in my brain. I met him on a Wednesday and had surgery on Monday. I recently had an office visit with Dr. Margraff, and he took the time to answer my questions and discuss a treatment plan for associated issues to my surgery. I unequivocally recommend Dr. Margraff.

Dr Margraf is a total joke. I was a second opinion so he wasn't interested in my concerns.Waited 1.5 hours to be seen for less that 7 minutes. He didn't check out my mri or xray cds I brought. Also, he appeared to be under the influence of something. I waited a few weeks for this appointment. Too bad he has a Godlike complex. He wasn't there to help me at all. Very disappointed and a tad bit ticked off. Do yourself a favor and don't go or take a loved one to this guy. He's gets an F from me.

Dr. Margraf removed my meningioma in January 2024 via a craniotomy. He spent time with my husband and I, answered all of our questions, acted in a very compassionate and professional manner. He and his office relieved much of my anxiety going into the surgery. The surgery was a complete success. He visited with my husband immediately after the surgery and with me once I was sufficiently recovered from the anesthesia to assure us that things had gone well and that he had high confidence that all of the tumor was removed. The incision is very thin and he removed the minimum amount of hair such that as soon as shampooing was recommended, one cannot tell surgery was ever performed. I could not be more impressed with Dr. Margraf and his team.

I had a pleasant experience with Dr. Margraf he did listen to my concerns and was knowledgeable and nice my surgery went very well. I would recommend The only thing I did not like is he did have nurse. Other than that part the staff and nurses at the Surgery center was awesome!!

Everyone was nice. First time in the Goldsboro office. Of course it was good seeing Dr. Margraf. He did surg.on me in 2019. Did an awesome job. Always concerned and caring. So I am back to get that fantastic care.

I sent a patient to Dr. Margraf for consultation for lumbar surgery. Dr. Margraf, whom I had spoken highly of, sent his PA into the clinic room alone, and this young gentleman told my patient his low back was perfect, good space, good curvature, and that he wished his low back looked like his. He did not show him the MRI films, but sent a steroid prescription for "inflammation."

I highly recommend Dr. Margraf. My appointment was arranged in a timely, proficient manner by his staff including the scheduling of a MRI prior to the appointment. I was scheduled for a spinal fusion within days based on an excellent explanation of the need for the procedure. The surgery has been a complete success and I am on the road to recovery.

I had a four level fusion in April 2016 by another surgeon which was a total failure my pain was worst and after 2 years of chronic uncontrollable pain I was sent to Dr Margraf by my pain management Dr... two weeks later I had a surgery that included my surgery from 2016 being redone and four levels above!! I went from not being able to control my left leg to completely picking it up as I was waking from recovery... I feel like Dr Margraf gave me my life back two weeks after the surgery and I can walk with no dragging my left leg I can also pick it up 3 foot laying flat down!! I am a 60 year old female and I feel like my life just done a 360 turn around I have quality to life now and I do not have that deep down excruciating pain and that I am very grateful to Dr Margraf he is amazing and I thank God I was referred to him! I do have pain now but it’s the normal after surgery pain .. Thanks again Dr Margraf and your staff you guys are wonderful ??

DR Margraf performed back surgery on me this past Oct. I was turned down and not given much hope by others because of some complications. DR Margraf from day 1 had hope. Surgery was a success. His staff are just as amazing! I won't trust anyone else ...
