I visited Dr. Snook's office over a year ago. They never did get my prescription right. After getting glasses back that weren't correct twice the nurse informed me that I would need to pay them $70 for the new exam. They also refused to help with the expense of having to pay for the 3rd attempt since the people who made the glasses had already made two pairs that weren't correct. The glasses were expensive and the people who made the glasses gave me a discount, but still cost $250 more. You have been warned.

Frustrating. Set up an appointment with another doctor in the practice and got farmed to this guy. Guess he wasn’t busy and I know why. He may be great at procedures, but all I needed were glasses and in this he failed. First visit, the tech dilated my eyes before the exam. Dr. S did it anyway and it Completely threw off the prescription. So after waiting days for my glasses to get done, turns out weren’t even close to the Rx they should have been. I tried giving them time to adjust but the headaches were horrible and I still couldn’t see. I was able to get back in with a different tech in Plano, no charge, and get my Rx fixed. Much closer, but tried to get my glasses Rx confirmed in Lewisville, and had an appointment scheduled and not with Dr. S or his tech. I was in the the parking lot of Lewisville and got a call that my appointment had been cancelled and a new one scheduled for me with Dr. S the next day for a full eye exam, not a correction. Full exam = $$$$ Nope! 3 strikes!

Appointment setting was ridiculous...first attempt was through their website link specifically for that purpose. I left my info and was expecting a call back but never got one. So I called the office and got voice mail...left a message to contact me back to schedule an appointment, but they never called. Does anyone in that office retrieve messages? Finally got someone on phone who was passive aggressive when trying to confirm benefits. Really?

Every time I had a visit I got to wait for mi I’m I’m of 45 mind to get in and once I come out it would be more than 90 to 120 minutes. Once I went 15 mins late due to heavy traffic and the receptionist said doctor cannot see me as they have certain window that will get the appointment cancelled. I even requested her to talk to doctor as I drove 40 mins to see him and after sometime she came back and said that doctor cannot see me and I have to reschedule the appointment. I’m with DR. Snook

I've been Dr. Snook's patient for about 12 years. He's fitted me with contacts and glasses...treated my dry eye condition and most recently performed life-changing cataract surgery on both eyes. My longevity and trust should speak volumes about what a GREAT doctor he is. He's kind & caring and my sight has never been better. His office staff & technicians are all A plus! If you're looking for a wonderful, caring, highly competent Ophthalmologist...I highly recommend Dr. Snook.

I find myself very satisfied with my 4 yr. experience with Dr. Russell Snook. I believe him to be a personable, highly qualified pure professional. I am extremely sensitive to my ophthalmologist. I was born with only one eye. I also am diabetic. Blindness is a real threat to diabetics if not monitored and treated appropriately. Therefore, my one eye is in the care of Dr. Snook. He has always taken appropriate time to comprehensively examine and treat me, understanding my visual impairments.
