Dr. Ruth Wieland, MD

Kind, caring, compassionate. Listens to you, doesn't talk down to you. Takes all the time you need at your appointment. She makes you feel like you are the most important person in her day.

Dr Weiland is a great doctor, she really cares about her patients, and she listens and addresses your problems,I hope everyone can say that about their doctor!

She knew of my condition and made plans to address it, including having tests done. She told of what would be coming, and what she could do about it. She always exhibits concern that I'm getting the right treatment, and wants the best for me. She asks about home conditions and help available to me. She really cares!

Dr Weiland is great her staff especially the front desk are very rude I went for a sleep study and my insurance didn’t cover it I paid $300 for my visit each time I went twice . I received the results and then received another bill for $187 dollars each time I went when I was told that there wouldn’t be any more payments due now I’m in collections

Dr Weiland is very thorough and caring. She spends time with patients with complex issues and is extremely knowledgeable. I have sent many of my friends to her also.

I like Dr. weiland. I've seen her once. I hand an appointment today, but they said I had a balance from my first visit. Ok so they wouldn't see me. I had to reschedule. By bill had still not arrived yet.her office staff are rude. One said I don't make the rules. Well I didn't know I owed that. I saw her last month. Never got a bill. They wouldn't see me. I liked her as a physician. Now, however, when I was supposed to go in for a follow up. I had my lab work done and requested a telehealth visit instead of putting my health at risk by going into the office. There were not any issues that had to be examined in the office. Since I said I would not come into the office at this time, I was discharged from the office. I would not recommend a doctor/ staff that could not take into account the patients’s request to continue to self quarantine and remain safe during this pandemic.

I’m from the Northeast and we have the choice of the best Doctors...Dr Wieland is just Great ...never had a Dr that takes the time to listen

My experience is that not only is she way behind on her scheduled appointments ,but, seems to think there's something noble about such behavior. Futher, I found her to be a checklist doctor with little common sense.

Dr. Wieland is an AMAZING DOCTOR who is very thorough in her care! She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. I had my husband switch doctors and upon his first visit, Dr. Wieland found a health concern which had not been picked up by his former doctor. She also did a COMPLETE physical which hadn’t been thoroughly done by his doctor. We are so blessed to have been referred to Dr. Wieland! She is fantastic!

One of the most caring, compassionante person. Great bedside manner. Goes out of her way to make you healthy. Gets to the bottom of your illness. No better Dr. Saved my life. She is missed in Owensboro, Ky

Dr. Wieland is very patient oriented. She knows her patients. She listens and does not rush through your visit. She is knowledgeable and experienced and does not hesitate to refer you if there is any question or concern. I very much appreciate that she takes her own notes and does not have two or three assistants in the room with her while you are being examined. Her nurses are polite, friendly and helpful. I am very pleased to have Dr. Wieland overseeing my health care!
