Dr. Ryan Cauley, MD

Dr. Cauley is my reconstructive breast surgeon. I had a double mastectomy and he has since operated on me 3 times. Once to put in expanders during my masterctomy, once for implants and once for fat grafting. He has been completely transparent and thorough throughout the entire process. My breasts look incredible and I have been asked who my surgeon is by many of my friends after seeing the results. He is both understanding and listens to what I have to say as well as answers all of my questions. I'm very happy with him and would recommend him any day!

Dr. Cauley is incredibly kind, thorough, and results driven. I felt cared for throughout both of my surgeries with him, and his entire team is equally supportive and responsive. I cannot thank him enough.

Got a breast reduction, and from the consultation to the surgery it took about a month and a half! Amazing care by the doctor and his staff. Listened to all of my concerns and questions and the results are amazing !

I am 5 days post-op from a breast reduction done by Dr. Cauley and his team and I couldn’t be happier. My breasts are healing beautifully and look like they belong on my 5’2” frame. Since my first consult with Dr. Cauley, all I received from him, and everyone else he works with, was kindness and understanding. In the past other doctors kept telling me that I needed to slim down and my breasts would be fine: not true, and unlike them, Dr. Cauley, understood what I’ve been trying to explain to everyone: no matter how much weight I lose or how much I exercise, my breasts keep growing: it runs in the family. As a professional Dr. Cauley has answered all my questions, reviewed my case with compassion, and he has been completely transparent with me, therefore, exceeding my expectations. I don’t usually write reviews but I am just 1 week post-op after my breast reduction and I can honestly already say that Dr. Cauley has changed my life. I am a 27 year old female who, for most of my young life, has dealt with major discomfort/dysmorphia surrounding my breasts. They had always been too big for my frame and caused me significant back issues which were only further aggravated after I was in a car accident 16 months prior to my reduction. From the very first intake appointment I was met with nothing but kindness from the staff and Dr. Cauley himself. I came into the appointment having done significant research myself and felt very comfortable with everyone in the office. Dr Cauley was very receptive to my concerns and answered any and all questions I had.(I am getting married in 4 months) On the day of my surgery I was as giddy as a kid on Christmas morning. Dr Cauley did not disappoint. In fact, he went above any and all expectations and I could not be happier.

Dr. Cauley and his medical team has truly changed our lives for the better. Not only is he kind, compassionate, and an absolute joy to be around, but he is INCREDIBLY talented at what he does. I am beyond thrilled with my father's results and the independence it has given him! Dr. Cauley took the time to explain the treatment and procedure in detail, answer any questions we had, and provided us with realistic expectations. We can't thank him and all of the incredible staff as well. My father had a medical issue and was under the care of other doctors for years. He was in tremendous pain. Dr. Cauley was recommended by a surgeon we knew and in less than a year (During Covid no less) he cured my father. Dedicated, knowledgeable, talented, skilled, friendly and well read is how I would describe him. I read the other reviews and am very surprised by them. In the year that we were under his care he was nothing short of amazing.

Horrible experience. Dr. Cauley and his chief Dr. Bernard Lee performed my 13-hr DIEP flap reconstruction surgery after breast cancer mastectomy in Feb 2020. I experienced partial flap failure, second debridement surgery complications (seven wks of liquid fat necrotic tissue leaking continually from opened surgical incision) and despite multiple attempts to contact Dr. Cauley & be seen, he NEVER responded to, communicated with or examined me to address surgical complications. Dr. Cauley & Dr. Lee are committed to churning out DIEP flaps at $50K a pop, not comprehensive, compassionate patient care when there are complications that require post-surgical treatment. I felt like discarded BI plastic surgery roadkill, left Beth Israel to a surgeon at Brigham & Women's where I have 4 fat grafting surgeries & a year of treatment to go.
