Dismissive and disrespectful
I am senior psychologist who spoke to Dr. Coon twice by phone only for 20 minutes twice with no comprehensive intake. At the start of my third (video) he announced he was reporting me to a monitoring agency for “impaired psychologists” rather than help me facilitate the leave of absence I needed. The monitoring agency severely punished and abused me and caused immeasurable stress to me through their painful investigation of 8 months after which they decided I was fine and presented no risk to my patients at all. By then then it was too late. I had been forced to leave my 64 patients within a single day and submit to an extensive rigorous investigation of my character, medical status etc with 0 help being offered. Clearly this only served to severely exacerbate my mental health concerns, lose $40k in revenue and ultimately my respect in the community. Dr. Coon needs to realize that people seeking help are doing just that - and punishing them instead is fatal.

He listened to all my concerns. He showed me that he cared and addressed my problem. After having such a bad experience with all my previous psychiatrist, he made me feel like I can still hope.
