Dr. Ryan Gholson, MD

Dr gholson was a very smart and kind doctor. I saw him for a pregnancy, and if I had another, I would drive to see him.

Dr. Gholson is phenomenal! He helped me deliver my twins naturally without any epidural. He has the absolute best bedside manner and all about patient care! He always made me feel heard and like my babies were in good hands!

I was super nervous about a male OBGYN when Dr. Gholson was first recommended to me by my sister-in-law. But I took a chance and met with him in May of 2019 and shared my struggles with him of 3+ years of unexplained infertility. After a couple of tests and a medicine change, I found out I was pregnant in August of 2019. He listened to me and didn’t just see my weight as the cause of infertility. I was healthy in all other aspects of my life. I had a perfect pregnancy and he delivered my first baby in April 2020. He changed networks and I happily followed him to OSU for my 2nd perfect pregnancy to deliver my baby in October 2021. I have sent so many of my family and friends to him and he has met each one with the care and respect that is not delivered anywhere else I have experienced. He has helped each meet their health/family goals without prejudice just like he did me. He is, without a doubt, one of the most sincere doctors I’ve ever met, not to mention person in general.

Would 100% recommend Dr. G! He was very thorough and always helpful with any questions or concerns we had during my pregnancy. I will continue to use him going forward!!

Dr Gholson did a excellent job with my pregnancy and delivery of our twins . He always listened to our concerns.

After being told I would never be able to have a natural vaginal delivery from a pelvis break in two places, Gholson has gotten me through 2, pretty comfortably. Would never go anywhere else

My husband, son, and I moved from California about a year and a half ago. We had a miscarriage a couple days before Thanksgiving 2018. When I first made an appointment at Dr Gholsons office, it was with Dr Hyden but called to come in sooner because I wanted to confirm that pregnancy and Dr Gholson was available sooner to see me. Him and his staff are excellent, fun, and professional. I have also talked to Dr Hyden on the phone for on call ON Dr at the hospital and she is very nice and helpful also. We got pregnancy again and had our second child at HILLCREST Claremore 10/7/19. I was very fearful after our first labor experience with our son 5 years ago, it was opposite from this experience. Dr Gholson has always been very reassuring, positive, and him and the nursing staff were nothing but the best. All extremely helpful, hands on, nothing short of amazing! Dr. Gholson is amazing! He is very laid back and easy to talk to about any concern you may have! He won’t ever let you leave with unanswered questions or unresolved problems. He’s makes you feel comfortable and at ease. Very knowledgeable and professional, but will always give you a good laugh. Highly recommend!

Dr Gholson delivered both my babies, and if we decide to have another I will definitely be going back to him! He is very knowledgeable, makes sure all your questions are answered, makes you feel comfortable and has a really great sense of humor. He spends a good amount of time with his patients, during my pregnancies I never felt like he rushed through my appointments.

I transfered to Dr. Gholson my 3rd trimester due to moving. I had a lot of troubles with my first 2 deliveries due to excessive bleeding after and was told by last Dr to think twice about having another. Dr. Gholson did such an amazing job this was by far my best and easiest delivery !!! He also explains everything very thoroughly. I am so grateful that I had him as my ob and would recommend him to everyone!! He is the best!!

Dr. Gholson treated my daughter after a playground accident. He treated her with great care, respect and compassion in the ER, hospital, and office visits. He made sure she was admitted to a private room and he briefed each nursing shift regarding her needs. When she wasn't eating much, he asked what she likes to eat and returned with some of her favorite snacks an hour later. His care was so fantastic that I switched to him as my GYN. I give Dr. Gholson my highest recommendation.

My husband was a little skeptical about a male doctor , but once my husband met Dr. Gholson he forgot all of his concerns. Dr. Gholson was amazing throughout my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and it was rough. I had hyperemesis gravidium, he was empathetic and worked with me to find a solution. He is amazing. I referred my sister, who was pregnant with baby #3. She agrees he is the best OBGYN she has ever had! He is so down to earth and knowledgeable, no one better!

Dr. Gholson was great throughout my pregnancy. After multiple losses, I was that annoying patient that panicked at the smallest things. He never made me feel like I was a problem and was always great to ease my mind. He turned a terrible delivery around quickly for me. Thank you for delivering my rainbow baby!
