Dr. Ryan Hampton, DO

I spent 7 Days in the hospital with an acute kidney injury. Moment to moment, me and my family had no idea what to expect. I've had numerous health issues even for my young age and it is caused PTSD that's very severe in these medical situations. I was at the end of my rope. Even after a kidney biopsy which gave me sedation, pain medication, and blood pressure meds, I had severe pain, a striking headache with all around panic and I could not de-escalate. Dr. Hampton showed so much empathy. Told me what was really going on what to not worry about. Heard everything I was going through and provided me with medication that finally took away all of the pain and anxiety. If he did not do this it could have caused even more medical issues and I would probably still be in the hospital. Seeing his past reviews I just had to say something about how wonderful he was and if I ever God forbid need a doctor in the future I hope it is him!

MY son saw him in the hospital and had NO CLUE what was wrong with my son. Now we can't a retuned phone call for his results. It's been 2 WEEKS

I had Dr. Hampton as a hospitalist in November 2019-December 2019. He missed the diagnosis because the CT scan did not spell it out for him. He is not capable of putting together the clinical picture with the abnormal test results. He treated me from the foot of the bed and the computer, and I was discharged home untreated sicker than on arrival with altered mental status. I returned 4 days later Dec. 1 with severe infection and he did not even look in on me the first day because I was seen by the night Physician Assistant. I continued to get worse. It took until Dec. 4 to get a surgical consult and Dec. 5 to get consults for Infectious Disease, Cardiology, and Pulmonary after a trip to ICU. My care was done by the consulting Doctors. Advice; request another Doctor.
