Avoid this person
Was very unhappy dealing with this person. He did not respond at all when I questioned him by email. I did not feel he could really explain my problem. Now that I have changed medical providers it was explained to me what my problem was in a way I could understand. The new medical provider has provided me much more relief for my problems. Avoid this person because if you are dealing with him you are getting the bottom of the barrel.

I was treated for severe spinal pain from a previous spinal fusion that needs to be replaced. I knew, and they knew that I needed surgery, but wanted to continue giving me spinal epidurals for over 5-6 sessions which are very nerve-racking and slightly painful. And several occasions I was kept in my waiting room for well over an hour to almost 2 1/2 hours for the last time. I was there when they knew full well that I was the last patient schedule of the day, and they had not even started the first patient, the staff was very curt and seemed very rushed . only the first spinal epidural that I got lasted several months. All the rest of them didn’t last but a couple of weeks and the last one didn’t even last the day that I was there. I was in pain the very day that I left, the spinal epidurals were an absolute waste of money and time and not to mention very depressing atmosphere and staff . The last time that I had a spinal epidural, I was kept in the waiting room for over 2 1/2 hours, and when I got into the room where I got the spinal epidural, the bed that I laid in the face cushion smelled of vomit or bad breath and they kept me in that position for over 25 minutes and when I complained about it, they looked at me as if I was insane and all of the receptionist have been very rude and they seem very untrained dealing with the public and people that are in pain. people that have excruciating pain or a different animal and with that being said a pain management clinic should be dealing with people as such not rushing them and making them feel like they are nuisance and foul nasty smelling equipment for you to be in. that is not properly scrubbed and wash between patients.

He repeatedly demonstrated bias against me, and seemed more concerned with covering for prior bad care, than resolving anything for me.

Did not listen to me about my symptoms. Seemed like since they where not on the chart, he did not want to talk about them. Misdiagnosed me with fibromyalgia which does not match my symptoms.

He was very thorough.:It was apparent he had looked at my prior tests and was the only doctor that came up with an appropriate diagnosis. He also ordered appropriate tests. It was not a diagnosis I wanted to hear, but very necessary to finally have a diagnosis so I can finally get on an appropriate treatment plan!
