Dr. Ryan McHugh, MD

Dr. Ryan McHugh has been absolutely wonderful. He has gone above and beyond for me over the last couple of years. I am scheduled to have surgery on my neck next month in Houston. I’m hoping that I will no longer need pain management after my surgery but if I do, I will continue using him. He takes his time to explain things to me and doesn’t try to hurry up and move on to his next patient like a lot of doctors do these days. I would 100% recommend him.P.S. All the negative reviews are from people seeking drugs... Not pain management. So of course they are going to take the time to leave bad reviews. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!!! He is an EXCELLENT Doctor.

dope dealer maybe he should become a foot doctor. He could of requested my 15 yrs. of pain mangagement before jumping on my case for going to him. All I wanted was a closer Dr. to my home so i don't have to travel to Beaumont as my vehicle is 25 yrs. old. Instead he wanted to make it clear he thought I was a doper, looking for connects. All for Tram-O-doll. He isn't a 'pain manger' he's a 'pill manger'.

Always get the injection exactly where my pain is and is always willing to talk to u. Doesn't rush u out like some other Drs.

it would be nice if SOMEONE answers the phone. I've called 5 times today and left 2 messages. I'm just saying.... answer the phone

I really like this doctor. He has been a help to me and my condition. I only have one complaint and it is nothing against him. I have called the office several times. You get a recorded message. When I leave a message with all my information, I get no call back. That has to be fixed and soon.

Doctor McHugh called with an extremely aggressive attitude prior to appointment. I don’t understand how a professional could be so rude. I recommend staying away from this “doctor”.

He's a good man and a good dr. Very attentive and kind to his patients. He cares. His staff works hard to keep up with a demanding patient load and admit when they have fallen behind. It is a pleasure to work with this office to manage pain.

I have been using Dr McHugh now for over two years and he had been a life saver for me. Truly!!! My last Dr in Houston Dr George Atallah is a quack and between him and his office manager they almost killed me so stay away from Modern Pain Management in Houston Texas!!!! Dr McHugh is great but you need to work with him because the State is tying his hands more every day on patient treatment procedures so be patient he does not make up all these rules only some of them to cover all bases....Amanda is an Angel from God and The other nice lady at the scheduling desk with blonde hair as well are both just the best. Thank you again to the staff at Dr McHugh’s office for your help in fighting my battle daily with back pain!

I found the Dr to be very professional, easy to talk to, appeared genuinely concerned & most importantly I was able to achieve great results under his care!

No problems with Dr. McHugh he's great. It's trying to contact his office is a nightmare. All you get is a recording and then after your selection all you get is leave a voicemail. I never get a return call !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been to many doctors for verious reasons but I will tell you that Dr McHugh and his staff are far beyond services of others. If you want strength answers this is the place where you can actually get them. His receptionist is truely above average.

When you deal with many different pain management doctors you will find that doctor McHugh it's probably one of the best understanding and treat your needs. His staff is above-average and friendliness and punctuality. Most people they have a problem with Dr McHugh have a problem that's not curable

Average "wait time" approx two and one-half hours. Unacceptable.

One of the best doctors I've had. Very thorough, spends time with you, truly does care about you & your health, extremely funny, very knowledgeable, just an all around wonderful Dr! I highly recommend him! I've been a patient of his for almost 3 years now.
