Disappointed and false accusations
Tried to make an appt. Today but the young lady said I cancelled 2 appts. And I could not make any more appts with them. I went to see him twice and both times he said schedule a follow up but if your better then cancel, I did feel better and I cancelled, the young lady was nice but her tone made me feel so unimportant. Dr. Palmer, I’ll let u know if my condition is serious and u refused to treat me.

My first visit with Dr. Palmer went extremely well. After having my hearing issues thoroughly checked, Dr. Palmerspent time checking my ears and explaining the results of the testing very clearly. He explained my options and what he suggested I do. I was never rushed to make any decisions immediately. Everyone in the office from the receptionists to the techs, to Dr. Palmer made me very at ease.

No
I saw him twice in past year for allergy testing and treatment. I have chronic fluid in ears and mastoids due to seasonal allergies. I had a ENT in Illinois near where I live that relocated and so I then started seeing Dr Palmer. Both visits he was in my exam room with me approximately 6-7 minutes if that long. He looked in each ear for about 3 seconds each then said “they look as beautiful as you are”. - then looked in my nose for about 2 seconds and said. “ Oh it is beautiful too! He did not look in my nares, feel for lymph nodes in my neck, look in my eyes, and listen to my lungs or do any other exam. He told me to continue allergy shots, and have a good day. He then said wait here in exam room for 20 min then go out and receptionist will make your next appt. I went a 2nd time and he repeated same behavior! He did not have any paperwork in his hand nor a laptop to look over any of my chart with me or refer to anything. Terrible unprofessional doctor!

I went to Dr Palmer on references from friend. He's a nice person but after two visits to his office I will not be going back to him. I have been afflicted with Meniere's symptoms for 30 years and been treated by multiple ENT's having moved several times. On my first visit to Dr Palmer, after ordering several balance and hearing tests, he agreed to take care of my prescription needs and would schedule an MRI if I desired one. After waiting over two hours in his office last visit (I've seen him about 15 minutes in over 3 hours in his office two times) he said he couldn't find his testing staff to do another hearing test. I requested scheduling the MRI and a prescription refill. Its been two months and the MRI has not been scheduled. Last week I requested a refill on the same prescription and his assistant said he would not authorize the refill even though it was for thirty days originally and it had been over 60 days since it was filled. I canceled my mid August follow up appointment.

Dr. Palmer recently performed an ultrasound-guided biopsy of a mass in my father's neck. Unfortunately, the result was cancer. After meeting with both my parents to give the diagnosis, neither of my shocked parents knew what to say or ask. Dr. Palmer told my parents that if they or the rest of our family had any questions that he would be happy to meet an answer them at another appt. Dr. Palmer is now refusing to meet with us and has washed his hands of us. Shameful, rude, and irresponsible.

Dr.Palmer was the best dr. I have seen in quite some time. He was patient with my questions regarding the removal of my thyroid. He called me a couple days after the surgery to see how I was doing and even gave me his cell number in case anything came up. I wish more doctors were so wonderful!
