Dr. Ryan Stevens, MD

I went to the Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery for an annual checkup. Dr. Ryan Stevens and myself talked about a couple of moles that I had and he asked me if I wanted him to zap them with you liquid nitrogen. I said, sure, and he zapped a couple of spots (which took about 2 minutes). The Dr. did not tell me that this would change my visit from a checkup to a procedure and that I would have a charge. Months later, I received a bill, so I called and explained the situation. The billing person said that she would get with the Dr, and either have the fee waived, or greatly reduced. I received another bill today, for the same visit for $188. I called again and was basically told, 'Too bad'. I paid the charge and informed the billing person that I would never go back to this facility. The Dr. should have explained that there may be a charge if he zapped my moles. To put things in perspective - I bought a can of liquid nitrogen off of Amazon to zap a couple of moles off my dog, and

If you are a hypochondriac like me then he's your guy!! Seriously if I ever have to switch insurance I'll pay the extra to go to him. The best. Goes above and beyond when it really matters.

I've been a patient of Dr. Steven's for about 8 years and I will be his patient for as long as possible. He has found Basal Cell Carcinomas on me 3 different times that were so small I didn't even know they were there. He gave me sound advice back in 2019 that I attribute to saving my life. He is thorough in explaining medical conditions, medications, treatments, and procedures. He's simply the best.

Dr. Stevens is complete in his assessments. He is extremely thorough, and he treats skin issues quickly. I would recommend him who wants an accurate and complete diagnosis.
