Dr. S William Pierce, MD

Dr Pierce has been my Primary Care Physician for 11 years, because he cares, he knows what he knows and he seeks expert advice from others when he needs to help his patients beyond what he knows. He’s intelligent, compassionate, wise, thoughtful and treats the whole person. Dr. Pierce is my health guide, manager, and advocate.

When I was referred to Dr. Pierce by my Registered Nurse friend we didn't know what was wrong with me, but whatever it was was seriously killing me. I had been to other physicians searching for answers. I called him and left a message, within 30 minutes he called back. He listened. He referred me to 2 different specialists; advised me of his private pay policy; we scheduled inperson evaluation & testing for the next day. I saw him 4 times that week...many tests. I had been dealing with my issues for a couple of years progressively getting worse. These last 7 months, I was basically bedbound. Turns out I essentially had end-stage thyroid disease. Oct. 20, 2023 - Prognosis: 6-12 weeks. He changed my meds, diet, set stress boundaries, told my husband to prepare for the worst...but make sure I behaved as though I'd live for at least 50 more years. I saw him 3 times a week for the first year; weekly the next year. Over time the visits became less frequent. That was 9 yrs ago!!

Dr. Pierce is one of the bests. He is caring, companionate and very trustworthy. As a nurse with years of experience in hospital setting, I dare to say they are not too many doctors like him. Thanks Dr. Pierce for give us hope and prove that humanity is still alive.
