Dr. Safa Magid, MD

She was a wonderful and informative doctor. She was approachable and actively listened to my medical concerns. Doctor Magid addressed my current concerns and made a plan for addressing things that could affect my future issues with the health issue.

Dr. Magid does not make assumptions rather she listens, gets all the information and then presents options. She answers questions, is kind, compassionate, and cares.for her patients.

I've met Dr Magid through teledoc appointments several times over the last three years. She is thorough in her diagnosis and very depth with her knowledge. She listens and explains what the symptoms are or possibly are and then prescribes as needed. Never forcing a medicine or having an agenda other than to help me is quite a relief that great physicians are still providing care. While she is in California, I myself in Tampa, I recommend Dr Magid and will continue to seek medical advice and treatment from her as long as she is practicing.

Dr. Magid started the appointment right on time, was very kind and compassionate, gave lots of helpful instructions, and was patient with me when I had lots of questions. Would definitely recommend!

Did not show up to our virtual appointment! I had an appointment at 4:00pm. I waited 45 minutes. Then I tried to reschedule and nothing was available until 11:00pm. Not cool!

I waited over 30 minutes for a televisit she did not attend. No cancellation notice.

I tested positive for Covid, but my primary care physician refused to prescribe Paxlovid because she said it was the policy of my provider not to provide the drug to patients without comorbidities. I found Dr. Magid through Plush Care and she listened to me, talked to me about my symptoms and situation, and made sure I had a Paxlovid prescription ready to go at a pharmacy near me that night. She also recommended that I check my oxygen levels with a pulse oximeter (which I forgot I had), and offered to follow up with me on how I was feeling the next day. Her manner was informative, knowledgeable and empathetic and I felt like I was in excellent hands. I’m grateful to have found her.

My experience with Dr Magid was completely positive. She took time to go over my history and symptoms, checked for any drug interactions and then prescribed a Covid antiviral. She thoroughly explained possible side effects and offered to follow up should any arise. Dr Magid provided excellent care and I would recommend her without reservation.

I've made an appointment at 5:15 AM because I have not because I'm not feeling well With with fever and coughing out green phlegm. I just had a Negative covid test. Dr. Safa Magid Suggested I go to the emergency room and have yet another covid test. I could have done that myself and didn't need to wake up at 5 AM For her to tell me that. I've already tested negative and need something to help with my deep green phlem. and Fever, like a good old fashioned Z pack. She said that those "don't work anymore", Even though the 1st and last time I took one 2 years ago it was like magic. I just had a negative cover test. She wants me to go hang out in an ER where they're already overwhelmed? That would be a great place to catch covid. Really disappointed at this point ed I'm still feeling really terrible.
