Very competent, caring, professional
I had been using a different ophthalmologist and was planning cataract surgery but midway through the numerous office visits leading to the surgery visits decided I was not comfortable with their practice. A friend recommended Dr. Pendse so I decided to try his office. Everything was covered in one visit (not three-four separate visits, each with its own co-pay), I was able to schedule my surgeries, the office kept in touch with me and answered any follow-up questions. The first surgery day went smoothly, saw him the following week as a follow-up, and had the second surgery. Again, smooth sailing and no complications. I’m still in my recovery period, and have nothing but great feelings about his competency, bedside manner, caring, and follow up. His office staff has been wonderful and competent as well. I did my office visits immediately after surgery with Dr. Sui and found her to be excellent too. An overall great experience in my case.

The wait times are just too long. Got a glasses exam from a young girl who was not the Dr. if I’m going to spend $45 for a prescription for glasses, I should be getting the prescription from an optometrist not a technician. I could go to the mall for less wait time but be seen by an ACTUAL Dr.

Front desk is filled with foul mouthed young girls. We could hear their entire conversation from across the room. Been coming there for over 15 years, these young girls aren’t friendly or professional. Disappointed.

Thanks to Dr. Pendse I am glasses free after 54 years of wearing corrective lenses. I feel fortunate that I happened to end up with him as my doc. He is so thorough and willing to spend time answering my many questions. The office and surgical center staff is equally awesome. Never had any issues with any aspect of my care. Five stars from me!

5 stars I talked to four ophthalmologists in the Lehigh Valley. Two could barely take the time to talk to me. Another, a lovely man, is older and told me that my cataracts did not need to be operated on right away. I had worn contact lenses for almost 60 years and knew that with NO discernible improvement after inserting the left lens I needed cataract surgery. In contrast, the right eye had good vision after the contact lens was inserted. Dr. Pendse stayed after his office staff had left for the day in order to answer ANY questions which I had. By the time I had spoken with the other M.D.'s most of my questions were answered. I doubt I was given special treatment, but you do need to let them know if you have multiple questions. I had already decided that I wanted the multifocal Intraocular lens which gives the best close-up and distance vision at an additional cost. I have minor astigmatisms and the cost of correcting those with a laser before surgery is included in the cost

I recently moved to Bucks County from Boston and needed an ophthalmologist because I have several eye conditions. Dr. Pendse was recommended to me. I could not be happier with the care that I am receiving. Dr. Pendse took the time to review all my records from Boston. I find him to be thorough, intelligent and caring. I feel that I am getting as good, if not better, care than I got from my long time ophthalmologists in Boston.

Dr. Pendse recently did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I could not be more satisfied with the results. My vision is perfect, and I no longer need glasses for distance nor for reading. In addition to being an excellent ophthalmologist, Dr. Pendse in warm, caring and very personable. His office is very efficient, and all the staff are pleasant and patient oriented. I highly recommend Dr. Pendse.

My sister-in-law highly recommended Dr. Pendse so I set up my first appointment thru ZocDoc. I chose a date/time, uploaded a copy of my insurance card, and completed an online patient info to register. A few minutes later, my appointment was cancelled - no explanation was offered by the doctor's office, and they have all my personal info. I never received any follow up call or email. I went with a different doctor.

The doctor is young and inexperienced. I had an appointment and I was under the impression that he would remove something from my eye. So I took a day off from work. Eventually he said that he cannot do that, gave me a cream and referred me to another ophthalmologist. That was inconvenient for me because first of all if they knew they could not do anything why bother see me? Waste of time and money. Now, I have to see another doctor who can do it.
