The Best Doctor I Have Ever Had
At first, I was nervous about seeing Dr. Dar. I have had chronic back pain for a very long time and it felt like no doctors I have seen in the past listened to me. Dr. Dar did and she kept looking for answers when others would have given up. She gave me an answer when I had been searching for over 20 years for one. She listens, is patient, and she cares about each of her patients. She carefully goes over every lab and provides resources to clients like me, that have autoimmune diseases. Her dedication to her patients is something that you don't see every day.

I love SMART Health and Wellness! I have been very blessed with the opportunity to work with Dr. Dar who is now my primary care physician. Dr. Dar is by far the best PCP I've ever had, and I've tried many. She was the first doctor to properly diagnose several issues that have been plaguing me for decades. She figured out why I was in pain, feeling sick all the time, depressed, and chronically fatigued. She believed me when I told her I had chronic pain and didn't treat me like a drug seeker as many others had. She discovered that I had hyperparathyroidism, and I just had the hyperactive parathyroid gland removed a month ago and I am 1000% better. My pain level is next to nothing, my depression its much better, I feel great, I have energy, and have lost 25 pounds already! I tracked the symptoms back over 20 years. I was misdiagnosed and treated like a crazy person and drug seeker for so long and she changed all of that. I never imagined I could feel this good. :) I highly recommend her!

I guess I’m a little surprised to see so many good reviews. I did not find her bedside manner as exceptional as other people apparently did. Not awful by any means, just adequate. Don’t expect to get a quick appointment, even if it’s an emergency. She ordered a ton of blood work and testing right off the bat. Which I agreed to. Specifically told nurse that I am prone to fainting when getting blood drawn and she went ahead drawing 9 vials sitting up. So I fainted. None of the nurses followed proper protocol for someone who faints. They kept me sitting up and put alcohol swabs under my nose. Then as I was barely conscious, she told me to go pee in a cup now, lol. Not a good experience. Wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend.

Dr. Saira Dar is incredible...she's the kindest, most compassionate and understanding person/doctor I've ever known in my life. I can't say enough wonderful things about about her. She's extremely thorough and diagnosed things about me that no one else ever even bothered to check. My health and outlook on life have improved immensely since under her care, and I can't thank her enough. The staff at Smart Health are phenomenal as well!

Dr. Dar was very rude during my appointment. She interrupted me and was condescending. I have never had a physician speak to me the way she did. She basically told me there was nothing she could do about my symptoms. No lab work was ordered. These very real problems would be listened to and acted on by any other physician, in my opinion. The fact that she is disregarded them so quickly is alarming. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend her at all.

I see Dr. Dar regularly. After 20 years of an unknown illness, she tested me for what she thought it was and was correct. I have never had a doctor as amazing as Dr. Dar. She truly cares and is incredibly intelligent and knows what she is doing!!! I have recommended her to others that have also finally figured out what was going on with their body. I love that Dr. Dar treats with care and is conservative with drugs. She focuses on health and nutrition first while incorporating necessary medical treatments. The way she has her own website, teaches and spends time with her patients shows that healing people is her passion. She is AMAZING!
