Dr. Salman Waheeduddin, MD

I have extreme health anxiety due to doctors dismissing my issues. Dr. Waheeduddin is one of the first doctors that did NOT dismiss my concerns. He did an EXTREMELY thorough assessment, looked through ALL of my medical history in the fine print (I see over 8 other specialists, so that’s a lot), and spent the time to look at every detail of the images I brought showing my symptoms during a flare up (over 100 pictures). He was able to confirm and diagnose a condition that I thought I had (which had been dismissed by 3 other doctors prior) and explained the other co-morbid conditions that he thinks I potentially have. He made me feel heard, validated my health concerns and provided reassurance that I WAS right to have suspicions about my health. If a doctor has EVER made you feel crazy about an extensive list of symptoms or brushed you off, Dr. Waheeduddin is the one to see. You don’t have to worry about that with him at all. I couldn’t recommend him more!!

In Jan. 2015 I was hospitalized for ten-days. The other physicians on my case, told me how fortunate I was to have so skilled a rheumatologist. I was unable to talk, bathe, or dress myself. I depended on a tube for food, fluids, and medication. Dr. Waheeduddin led a diverse medical team. He’s extremely attentive to quality control. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and, bedside manner.  He has been unceasingly kind and gentle. He always listens closely to and remembers my concerns.
