NEGLECT!!!!! Plain and simple, lies and lies, no return calls, complete inaction!! Started with Dr Lerman 10 months ago for osteopenia. 10 months later all I have gotten is a broken foot and full out osteoporosis!!! Still waiting for a return call from last week regarding my broken foot and when my test will be done to get my treatment before I break more bones. NEGLECT & LIES is all I have gotten from Dr Lerman

When he was a doctor in Montreal, Canada he was overdosing my mother on cynthroid to the point that her TSH levels were in the 300s (normal range is 1-4). She was bed ridden, had palpitations, développés allergies... the worst part is that it's a very simple blood test to monitor the TSH and adjust the dose. He never did it. Finally she saw a different endocrinologist who immediately reduced the prescribed dose and saved her life. Avoid Dr. Lerman if you value your life.

He is a very competent doctor. He is very thorough and explains your health to you. I certainly reccommend him very highly.

I have seen Dr. Lerman for over twenty years and I sincerely believe he is the best endocrinologist ever. I had radiation when I was 25 and have suffered with my thyroid ever since. At that time, I had a physician who did not monitor my thyroid after swallowing the radioactive iodine. As a result, I was wrapped in a blanket trying to teach, sat in my car trying to warm up at lunch and I was in constant pain in my arms and my legs. I also had great difficulty walking. Therefore, I am not your typical thyroid patient. Dr. Lerman is smart, kind, compassionate and I see him every three months. I do not ever remember seeing an endocrinologist for whom I have greater respect. He is concerned about me and my well being and he knows that he has to think out of the box in order to help me. I have such faith and trust in Dr. Lerman that he also treats my daughter. I cannot say enough good things about him and recommend him wholeheartedly to friends and family as well.

Excellent care for many years

From the woman who you speak to to make an appoint, to the phlebotomist, to the wonderful Assistant (Jessie) Dr. Lerman has, everyone is friendly and helpful, and very good at what they do. Dr. Lerman is easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, and asks good questions.

Dr. Sam Lerman is premier in his field, a one-of-a-kind doctor with leading expertise in endocrine care and an incredible, compassionate "bedside" manner. He's very thorough, challenges me to better health, and "has my back!" I highly recommend him as he's the very best in his field, well-respected both by his peers and patients, and very easy to talk to. Most of all, he is a doctor who takes the time to listen, after he's asked you a question. Very rare in today's medical professional field. He's a real gem!
