Dr. Sambamurty Kalahasty, MD

Dr. Kalahasty is one of the most caring physician's I've met. We have been going to him for about 10 years and in that time he has helped us with the diagnosis of diabetes and getting a handle on the disease. He is there when you need an immediate appointment, and also for our quarterly appointment. I highly recommend him.

One star is even too high for him. Really messed my mom up. Would not listen about adverse reaction to medication which created health issues and suffering. Found out from another dr that she had been diagnosed with something she had not been informed of. Would not recommend.

This doctor needs to retire! He's clearly showing up only for the paycheck & counting down the days until he can retire. I've worked with physicians for over 20 years & never found a physician more unprofessional, rude & uncaring. When questioned why certain lab tests weren't performed, he actually admitted to "assuming" another doc ordered them. He's totally checked out of practice medicine! Also confident he hates women & has no respect for the gender. Will be reviewing w/insurance company.

He's a horrible doctor he's more interested in his retirement then he is with the patient now he wants you to bring it every single prescription you have so he can refill them he's just biding his time towards retirement do not go to him there are better doctors out there his staff is rude and they think they know what they're talking about

Keeps you in the dark, and doesn't listen to your concerns. Had a bad reaction due to a conflict between 2 drugs he prescribed... severe itching all over. When I told him of this he just said stop taking the 2nd drug.... didn't prescribe anything for the itching and didn't seem to care. Office screwed up more than once, causing a huge delay on a needed test. I had to google test results, to see what he was thinking about for my treatment. Very uncommunicative, and has an "I'm the Dr." attitude.

After changing insurance for Dr to be my primary I sat for over 1 hr was called in back nurse asked questions came back in and said the Dr will not see you. He NEVER came into the room no explanation why I waited for over an hour. Very unprofessional. Called the AMA and left a complaint. If you have any problems please call the AMA @ 1-800-262-3211 hold these Drs accountable.

Professional with his diagnosis and what he thought was best to treat my diabetes and high blood pressure. Very serious when reviewing my background, asked a lot of questions about my family history.
