I was seen in the er at Baptist hosp pensacola. He was prompt at ordering the tests I needed.i was in a lot of pain when I got there, and he realized that and I was given some medication to to bring the pain level down. I wish he was a hip surgeon and could fix mine. He really seems to care about his patients.

Poor Exam & Horrible Experience
My visit same as other 1 star. Their words..No bedside manner..no emotions shown..in & out of room quickly..MY words..hardly looked at me..I had detailed history & not asked anything..even home meds..he barely made eye contact..my complaint severe pain posterior calf & he never touched it..ordered ultrasound..lab work & hit me with morphine..told RN I lived 100 miles away & drove myself...how long for drugs to clear?..was told 5 hours..assumed I would be there that long..after the morphine he appeared for 2 or 3 min said all tests normal..I am so groggy I cannot ask for better physical exam..RN comes in to release me..I am retired medical...I know how long it takes to clear morphine..evidently he did not..or did not care..RN told me I could stay in waiting room till I could drive! Whole visit no more than 2.5 hr. Found large bruise on calf next day with possible cellulitis below...If he looked he might have found pain cause. Horrible experience. Will crawl to nearest vet next time!

No bedside manner as in showing no emotions. He was in and out of the room quickly. Really didn't understand my situation. Didn't ask me anything about medical history. My BP was extremely high is one reason I went in and when I left my bp was just as high. Gave up and gave me morphine and within minutes the got me up and sent me home. Didn't care about how I was feeling shaky, dizzy and weak. They needed the bed so I was basically history.
