Ignored presenting symptoms. Dismissive.
I have severe heart disease. Was in the hospital 2 times in January 2024 to get heart stents. Ten days after my second stent I visited my cardiologist for a checkup. She said I could resume my normal activities and her assistant showed me how to give myself an injection of a cholesterol lowering medicine that needs to be injected every two weeks. This was my first injection. Went home, 2 hours later the right side of my face went numb then I fainted for an hour. Now the right side of the top of my head was numb as well as my right hand. I got up to walk to the kitchen and tripped 2 times on my right foot. My wife drove me to the ER. My CT scans did not show a stroke but in cases of TIA they are often negative. They did show some stenosis on 2 brain arteries on the left side at back of my skull which would be consistent with a right side stroke. Dr. Shaikh told me I had a panic attack. I never had a panic attack in my life and I am 75 years old. Gaslighter in my opinion.
