Bad bedside manner
Displays a high lack of empathy and has a very hard time taking constructive feedback. Her poor communication skills are driven mostly by a lack of listening and the fact that she cuts off people when they are trying to speak. When people are dealing with critical and life altering situations, it’s important to display a sense of empathy. My belief is that this doctor has sound medical knowledge and instincts but would serve her well to take this feedback and work on how she builds rapport with patients so that they feel she has your best interest at heart. I hope that she takes this advice.
